  Seriously for a business they have absolutley no customer service. You phone them to ask something and get that stupid AI garbage i want to talk to a Real Person Not a Computer why have a phone number? Whst ever happened to answering a phone? Sorry but that is just laziness.

  Had a great relationship with this store as the old geek squad crew was amazing and the definition of customer service. The current geek squad employeee lied to my face and handed me my computer case back with all backwards fans. Cpu cooler on the wrong direction and not working. Seemed annoyed when i brought it back. Horrible service. Me and some locals have a petition going to vancouver office.

  I brought in my new laptop on July 11th to get a data transfer from my previous laptop and payed $172. Previously at a different computer store I had been told it would only cost $70 for a data transfer so I'm quite disappointed in the price difference from such a recognized brand. On top of that when I recieved my new laptop back from them it had multiple, and rather deep, scratches! I take pride in my devices and keep them in great condition, but I had only had this new laptop for less than 24hrs and the best buy employees have already scratched it and didn't bother cleaning off all their messy fingerprints. Not impressed and won't be getting anymore repair work done there ever.

  Really disappointed with customer service here. Purchased a mini fridge online with pickup location at the Courtenay store. We are on Hornby island and had a friend who was in Courtenay for the day pick up the fridge. Noticed a very significant dent in the door at time of unboxing. Called to see if we could at least get a discount and were initially told that standard discount for this kind of thing would be 20-30%. When the agent realized however that we are on Hornby and the inconvenience involved in returning the item (2 ferry rides away) he changed his tune and said return to store is the only option and no discount would be offered. It was very clear that the tactic changed when they felt it was unlikely that we would be returning it to the store. So dishonest and such poor customer service. Definitely will not be using Courtenay Best But again in the future. Very disappointing.
