  As a lifelong Apple user who has visited Apple Stores all over the globe, this Coquitlam location provided my most unpleasant experience to date. I went in on a quiet Monday specifically to purchase an iPad Pro. Despite the store not being busy, I had to actively search for assistance while four staff members stood around chatting with each other, doing absolutely nothing. When I explicitly asked one of them, "Is there anyone who can help me with a purchase?", he paused, stared blankly, and said "Yeah" - only to follow up by saying he wasn't the one who could actually help and would grab someone else. We then had to wait for another associate who clearly has no idea how to triage customers. Even though we told them we were ready to buy immediately, they prioritized answering a browsing customer's questions instead of quickly processing our transaction. They could have easily processed our purchase and had the iPad brought out from the back while assisting the other customer, but they lacked basic efficiency. The staff here treats every customer with a condescending, one-size-fits-all approach. They assume everyone walking through the door is a complete novice. As a lifelong user who already knows exactly what I need, it is incredibly frustrating to deal with arrogant employees who, quite frankly, are often far less knowledgeable about the products than the customers they are supposedly helping. Highly disappointing.

  I visited the Apple Store at Coquitlam Centre several times to get my iPhone 17, which is still under warranty, fixed. Unfortunately, after four visits, all they did was reset the phone; they had no real knowledge or solution, and no actual help was provided. Worst of all, one of the staff members was extremely rude and disrespectful. I am truly disappointed; there is no proper care or professional service here. If you’re looking for good service, do not choose this location.

  I have visited this Apple Store four times because of an issue with my iPhone 17 Pro, which I purchased less than four months ago and is still under warranty. Unfortunately, the problem still persists. During my third visit, they took my phone to be repaired at the factory, but it was only reset and not actually fixed. Now, after the fourth visit, the issue is still there. As a mother of a four-month-old, it’s been very challenging to keep going back and forth, spending about two hours each time at the store without any resolution. It seems some of the technicians are not very knowledgeable. Overall, this experience has been very frustrating and time-consuming.

  My dad’s iPhone would not turn on so he brought it to the store for help. He has Apple care. They said a part needed to be replaced but didn’t have it in stock. They sent him to another store 30 minutes away instead of replacing the phone for him. He is 80 years old and it was already a long drive to the Coquitlam store. The Guildford store then told him it would take 6 hours to fix. Again, he is quite old and this really stressed him out. He waited around the mall until 8:30pm. All this time and he had no communication means. We pay for apple care and I feel that the service level should have been higher. After getting his phone back they didn’t even help him set it up. Really disappointed in both these stores’ service.
