Ive been a Verizon customer over 10 years. Verizon customer service sent me into this store to resolve an issue that was not a store issue. Customer support failed to issue me a 600$+ credit that they were supposed to apply to my bill and told me to go to this store to have them apply the credit they had nothing to do with. Ms. Kamiah greeted me at the door and I told her "this is going to be a weird situation" and we sat down talked about the last 4 months of run around with customer service and went through the notes on my account. She called verizon customer service for me ( she DID NOT have to go to bat for me but she did) to get the issue rectified. Verizon customer service (on the phone) was rude to her and argued with her until her Assistant manager Jesus came over and took the phone to continue the fight for me when the rep became hostile towards her. We were then hung up on and Kamiah redialed for round 2. The second rep we spoke to was purely and completely VILE.. I have NEVER heard a company speak to their team, on the customers behalf, the way the woman on the phone did. Thats when Ms. Jessica (manager) stepped in. The rep got more and more hostile and loud with Jessica the further the conversation went. I ended up taking the phone and going off on the rep letting her know I had heard every word she said to Kamiah and Jessica, the way she spoke to her, the lying, the falsification of the notes on my account, them attempting to make the store accountable for a credit that the company owed me on my account, and how disgusted I was with her behavior towards their team. I gave the phone back to Ms Jessica just for the customer service rep to hang up on her. Round 3.. Ms. Kamiah called customer service back after Ms Jessica notated the entirety of the altercation with customer service onto my account when the reps note appeared as well. Stating that the staff and I were hostile towards her and we used profanity towards her etc. Mind you were sitting in the corner of the store on speaker phone. Ms. Kamiah was able to finally get the money credited to my account. Now, im writing this because the store employees were PHENOMENAL with me. 2 hours of their time on an issue that wasn't their problem with the worst customer service reps on the phone I've ever heard. They not only went to bat for me, they won the game against corporate. They could have simply said, "Im sorry, your not our customer, none of this has anything to do with our store, please call customer service and good luck" but they didnt. They cared about me, my issue, and the way I was being lied to by VZ customer service. I have tried to make a formal complaint against the reps we dealt with today, guess what they said... "Go to the store and make a complaint" That literally made me laugh. I was ready to terminate my service, let the bill go to collections, and head to another carrier. But the way that Ms. Kamiah, Ms. Jessica & Mr. Jesus at this store heard me, made me feel seen, and took over the NIGHTMARE of customer service is keeping me a customer. From now on Ill do my business with them in their store. To say im shocked at the way customer service spoke to their own team is an understatement. The stores are the faces, the front runners, and the backbone of the company and their sales. They almost lost a customer of over a decade with upgraded phone lines, pretty much yearly, and a paid on time bill every single month over a customer service mistake. This definitely isn't over. I want a formal apology to Ms. Kamiah, Ms. Jessica, and Mr. Jesus as well as myself before this is over from corporate. Thank you guys for having my back!! You 3 are amazing and I couldn't imagine having to get that nonsense taken care of without you. Ill see you soon. ♡ -Angie.

I have been with AT&T for most of my cell phone life, and recently lived in a small town that didn’t have them so I switched to Xfinity. Well, I moved back to Bakersfield and there is no Xfinity here so I came to Verizon because AT&T is VERY expensive. The person who greeted me at the door turned out to be the manager, and he was really friendly and very helpful. Without going into it in detail, I was having a big problem with my iPhone and we couldn’t get a transfer pin from Xfinity and it was kind of a nightmare, but he hung in there and spent a lot of time with me trying to help me get my problems, squared away. I had to go back several times while he was trying to figure out ways to solve my corrupted data issues. I have never had such great customer service anywhere ever, and I highly recommend this Verizon store on California Avenue.
The reason there is four stars and not five is because the next couple of times I came the person who was greeting at the door was cold and abrupt and rude and was grilling me for detailed information about why I was there, even though I told him I was there to see the manager, per that manager’s request. I’m annoyed with myself right now because I can’t remember his name and I so much want to give him a glowing recommendation. I’ll find it and
