- CMCianne McGinnisDec 27, 20254.0I have been with AT&T for most of my cell phone life, and recently lived in a small town that didn’t have them so I switched to Xfinity. Well, I moved back to Bakersfield and there is no Xfinity here so I came to Verizon because AT&T is VERY expensive. The person who greeted me at the door turned out to be the manager, and he was really friendly and very helpful. Without going into it in detail, I was having a big problem with my iPhone and we couldn’t get a transfer pin from Xfinity and it was kind of a nightmare, but he hung in there and spent a lot of time with me trying to help me get my problems, squared away. I had to go back several times while he was trying to figure out ways to solve my corrupted data issues. I have never had such great customer service anywhere ever, and I highly recommend this Verizon store on California Avenue. The reason there is four stars and not five is because the next couple of times I came the person who was greeting at the door was cold and abrupt and rude and was grilling me for detailed information about why I was there, even though I told him I was there to see the manager, per that manager’s request. I’m annoyed with myself right now because I can’t remember his name and I so much want to give him a glowing recommendation. I’ll find it and go back and edit this review.
