About the last month or 2 the employees have been really shady when it comes to pokemon card restocks. I GO in and ask for cards they tell me no sold out BUT same day my friends go AFTER me and get sold cards

We tried to buy a washer and dryer from this store and while the in store experience on the date of purchase was on the surface good, the back end of trying to get it installed and delivered was the most horrific customer service experience I have ever had causing me to cancel the order. I bought the item on 11/18/25 and was scheduled for. 11/25/25 delivery and install date. On 11/24/25 I got a phone call, text and email confirmation that my products would be delivered and installed as scheduled on 11/25/25. We were 500 miles away and made a point of leaving early to be sure we were ready for the delivery in the next day. Then at 7:30am the day of the delivery we get a call saying it has to be rescheduled to 12/2/25 because the product was not in. I call them back and this started a series of speaking to 5 different people (including a supervisor) who were the most frustrating dishonest people I have ever spoken to. All of them located in call centers in other parts of the world and language barriers were also a problem. First they say that the dryer is not in stock, when I say fine please deliver and install the washer as scheduled, they say well there is no installer available. When I ask which is it and why did you call me, text me and email to confirm, I was greeted with silence. I asked did the person that called me just lie and the supervisor said “yes they lied”. When I told them I wanted to speak to someone in the store so I could explain why I was considering canceling my order, I had four of the five people tell me that there is no way to communicate with the store unless I physically go in. The fifth guy finally explained that he could send a call request which is what I asked the third and fourth person to do and they said it was not possible because the store did not have working phones (I am not kidding they actually said this). So the 5th person promised a call back from the store in 3-4 hours, that was 9 hours ago still no call. I cancelled the order as my husband went to another retailer (Lowe’s) who will deliver and install tomorrow at a lower price. I am a Best Buy member and card holder and long time customer but thanks to my interaction with Jade, Neal, Lucas, Lydia, and Herberth at the Best Buy call center, I will NEVER buy another item again from them and will be canceling all cards and memberships. I try very hard to support brick and mortar stores as I realize that all those people in the store in those blue shirts make a living providing customer service that I have normally been very pleased with. However, Best But clearly does not think enough of its store employees to provide them with quality support in the follow thru, nor trust them to speak to their customers directly by phone . A truly frustrating experience that I will not repeat again.
UPDATE- To the Best Buy Bot who responded to my review. Why would I bother reaching out to you all? You aren’t going to change your outsourcing of sub par back end service and delivery. As an FYI I bought the same products at Lowe’s on 11/25 and they were delivered and installed on 11/26. I only dealt with the sales team and a local install contractor from the Bay Area. To all reading this review for your appliance needs skip Best Buy and go straight to Lowe’s
