We will be taking our business elsewhere. We recently bought a large TV and a mouse from here however today we attempted to buy headphones. Many of the display headphones were not there just empty spot or had at least one of the headphone pads missing. We wanted to try on one of the ones that had an empty display but the unfriendly, rude and unhelpful sales person would not let us try them on saying we would have to just buy them… we will be going somewhere else for all electronics from now on.

If I could give 0 stars i would. Walked-in there was many workers, I needed a new monitor (for my computer) they ask this white lady if she needed help not one work came up to us while we standing there they walked by us. However they asking every other customer around us for help, this behaviour isn’t uncommon for us being Indigenous sad to say they seem more discriminating and judgmental as soon as you walk in the door. This ain’t the first time this behaviour has been displayed sad to say they are in an Indigenous area Squamish Nation. I figured they would be more assisting and polite. Therefore 0 stars, if possible I hope honestly Google makes that’s available Sooner.

I'm not usually a jerk but I don't really have a nicer way to say that the store manager of this best buy has no idea what he is talking about. My daughter goes to school in Canada to play hockey and we live in California. Her laptop does so she went here to buy a new one. She's a teenager so no credit cards but I had her add one of mine to her apple pay. They won't accept apple pay though for anything over $250. Dumb policy but okay. I talked to the manager over the phone because I realized I could place it online for in store pick up which should have been suggested to us but wasn't. I talked to the store manager on the phone explaining the situation and he tried to tell me my order wouldn't go through and that we couldn't buy anything without cash or a physical "Canadian" credit card. Not just any credit card, it had to be issued from Canada he said. 🤦🏼‍♀️Um buddy, Visa is accepted worldwide not sure where you're getting your info from. And if they didn't allow it why was I able to enter a US address as th billing info if that's not allowed! She pays for things with her phone all the time I'm Canada no issues! I even called the best buy call center and the lady I talked to kinda laughed because what he was saying was so absurd. And this is the manager. That's sad. So as much as she needed the laptop right away I cancelled the online order because I'm not giving that store business and I was able to order it shipped to where she lives. It'll take a few extra days but at least it won't be a hassle dealing with horrible customer service in the store. If it wasn't sold out at Costco I wouldn't have giveny business to best buy at all but unfortunately I don't know where else to go as we live in the US. I also called the call center 3 times trying to find out what was going on with my online order only to be given the run around until the 3rd try when I talked to Kelsey. Someone who was fantastic and actually helpful and knew what she was talking about. Thank you Kelsey! You need to train everyone else there!

Very frustrating experience at the Park Royal Best Buy. I purchased a Mac mini last Friday (store transaction #13 10 6716 03272026), and the sales associate clearly told me it would be ready for pickup this Friday. Based on that, I made a trip to the store today. However, when I arrived at the order pickup counter, I was told the item had not arrived yet and that I should only rely on the email notification, not what the sales associate said. This is extremely disappointing. I wasted time coming to the store because of inaccurate information. If the official policy is to rely on email confirmation, then the sales associate should have made that very clear instead of giving a specific pickup date. To make things worse, I asked if I could switch the order to shipping so I wouldn’t have to make another trip, but I was told that wasn’t possible. I understand delays happen, but giving customers misleading expectations is not acceptable. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures better communication in the future. This experience makes me reconsider shopping here in the future.

Head office is ignoring their store, staff and customers. I Ordered my iPad 23 days ago, and it said 1 day delivery. The first and last notification was on the day after I ordered and it’s been “waiting on a carrier” for 22 days now. I’ve gone to the store 3 times and every time they say they are contacting head office. However last time I was in, (20 days after the order was placed) they told me that all their emails have been ignored by head office, and that they can’t do anything unless they respond. I wanted to see if I can get a refund or cancel the order but was told that I can only return the item once I have it, and have to wait, even though it’s been 22 days without an update. I need the IPad for my work, but I have not been able to do so as I can’t just purchase another one in store (Which they have now) as I can’t afford to buy 2 IPads at the same time. A week after I made the purchase, I was told it would be maximum 3 days until I would get my order, if I were to have gone through with buying the second IPad and waited. I would not have been able to pay rent at this point if I went against my judgement with how long it’s taken. The automated support online also closes the chat saying they won’t help and I have to wait, and if I call it’s the same as going into the store, with even multiple employees at the park royal branch recommending against the online support as it’s “useless”. I went against multiple recommendations made by people with previous bad experiences and still purchased, and I’m being proven wrong. I would not have complained if anyone was able to help, or I was even able to contact any sort of management, but that’s impossible as well. I used to recommend this place, but at this point, out of care for people, I would actively push people to use any other store or way to purchase, as this has been by far the most difficult, stressful, and frustrating experience I’ve ever had shopping for anything, coming from a frequent user of marketplace.
