  I went into Best Buy Langford specifically because I needed a new laptop quickly. I could have ordered the same item from Amazon or another retailer, but next-day delivery was the deciding factor in choosing Best Buy. The store did not have the model I wanted in stock, but the sales associate assured me — after I asked them to confirm — that it would be delivered to my home the very next day. Based on that assurance, I proceeded with the purchase and paid over $3,000, fully expecting fast delivery. I have now checked the tracking information and the delivery date has been pushed to January 5th — an 8-day delay. That is not even remotely close to what was promised and completely defeats the reason I chose Best Buy in the first place. Had I been given accurate information upfront, I would have ordered elsewhere. At least with Amazon, I would have had a realistic 2-day delivery window. This experience feels misleading and has significantly damaged my trust in the information provided by the staff at this location. I would welcome a response from store management explaining how this happened and what can be done to make this right.

  I called “geek squad” yesterday at 1:00 pm about a repaire inquiry and they told me they have the same hours as Best Buy so they close at 8 and told me to come at 630. I arrived at 6:29 pm and there was no one at the desk. I stood there waiting to be helped and a service worker stared at me until I said something. She told me that geek squad is closed. I reiterated the same information I wrote here and she said that they had left. I said well that makes no sense if I was told they close at 8 and I was meant to be here at 630. She told me they close at 630. I asked another worker and he said they had someone call out due to illness. So someone here is lying and I don’t do lying. I went AGAIN today (my mistake of going again) to get my MacBook inspected for repairs. When they told me the cost of repairs they laughed and said $1,300. Why are you laughing? I was not laughing yet here you are giggling away. I asked to see the refurbished MacBooks and a worker showed me to the new MacBooks. After repeating myself again I am looking for REFURBISHED MacBooks the worker dared to correct ME and said these are refurbished. I then had to explain to a BEST BUY WORKER what the difference between “new” and “refurbished” means. It’s clear they hire anyone that barely speaks English to rage bait you. Not that I come to Best Buy often, but now never again. I’m going to Costco to buy a MacBook. Hurray for Costco.

  Great experience. Easily exchanged my item with no issue at all. Very friendly staff and quite quick for a busy day.

  Went into the store to buy a video game as I was passing by. There were lots of empty packages on display but apparently they had nothing in stock after waiting at the registers to pay. What is the point of having a large display and wasting my time as the store associate went into the back to look only to tell me they had none in stock. If you have no stock either put a sign up or remove all the empty boxes from the display.

  I went into Best Buy to get a Tablet and Logan helped me. I ordered a S11 and when the tablet came in Logan helped me set it up. He spent time with me and explained all the information about the tablet. I will recommend Logan to everyone.
