  I purchased a MacBook Air in store as they were on sale. This location was out of stock so the employee processed the purchase in-store and had the computer shipped to my house. When I got home, I checked my emails and found the employee had ordered me the French version with a French keyboard for some reason. After about 30 minute on the phone with Best Buy, customer service, there was nothing they did to help other than offer to order me another computer. This has been going on for over two weeks now. I’ve spent considerable time trying to contact Best Buy over their online chat but don’t hav two hours to spend trying to reach someone and using the generic AI question bot to try and solve my problem without involving a human. At the end of the day, I’ve spent hours of my own time trying to fix a mistake Best Buy made. I have been charged for the computer but have not received it. There is no help anywhere.

  I went in with an old iPhone no longer working, and quickly bought an iPhone 17. The help of Carol in Mobile section was acute,knowledgeable, and friendly! For 2 1/2 hours, she helped me select Telus, searched diligently for most economical solution to my requirements, and steered me gently through the lengthy data transfer. Cheerful and effective assistance. I will be back!

  I had a disappointing experience with geek squad. I went there to try and get my laptop fixed, just needed the battery changed. I let the guy know that to but either he wasn't listening or didn't take value of that info. As he was looking over my laptop and trying to turn it on, I'm telling him about the issues I'm having it and how it only works when it's plugged in with my phone charger. Before I could give him the charger, he asked me a question then walked away before I could answer. Rude. So after some time of him trying to turn on my laptop with the actual laptop charger, I get it working with my phone charger, he only says that that shouldn't work. Then, after all that time, he tells me that he cannot work on it any way as my laptop is more than 5 years old. What a waste of time that was. The only helpful thing he did was tell me about other places that can help.

  The most obtuse phone and online service. If you frustrate your customers before they have an opportunity to spend money, you're going to miss out on sales.

  Great experience at Best Buy with Paul (Mobile). Paul was amazing. Helped my wife get a phone, plus he helped us switch carriers and plans, which saved us a ton of money. Thanks Paul!
