I'm tired of buying things online and then being told days later that something went wrong in their system, "sorry, we cancelled the order and no longer sell it"... Like come on. Once and I'm kinda ok with it, but three or more times across cards, years, and my spouse and I... Come on, fix your darn system! Not using best buy anymore. There are better options.

The staff here seemed to have very limited knowledge. We had to go back and forth four separate times just to get the correct materials, and in the end I gave up and contacted the manufacturer myself to find out what was actually needed. It was a simple job, yet I kept being told that the wrong materials were “correct.” If you are being paid to assist customers, more effort should be put into knowing the products. I would not recommend coming to this store for help unless you already know exactly what you need.

Purchased a Segway kickscooter. The manufacturer itself had a much lower price ($400 difference) vs what Best Buy offered, however they did Price Match - most of it. Best Buy charges an environmental fee, yet Segway itself along with ezbikes doesn't charge it at all. The staff and management would not waive the fee, nor would they alter the price of the kickscooter to Price Match the actual tax in total. The staff were like...'but it's only 0.70!'. The principle of Price Matching is to charge the exact same amount as the competitor; not use the excuse of a 'government fee' to justify it. This review could've been avoided if they Price Matched the tax in total that Segway and ezbikes showed on their websites. How the staff went about this is unethical and is not a true Price Match. It was end of day and I didn't have the time over this additional charge that nobody else charges. Yes, it's a petty amount that people won't care for, but if nobody mentions this, Best Buy is basically skimming off every customer with this petty charge. I should've just purchased it through the manufacturer site instead. BS charges and unwilling to make a customer happy deserves a 1-star.

We love this location much more than others in Downtown Vancouver. Harman helped us with purchasing a new macbook pro, and we will request him to help us every time we come in now. He is the friendliest and most informative best buy staff member we have met. Thank you for the best service and experience Harman!

I’ve had varying experiences over the years, from very helpful sales people to being ignored when the store wasn’t that busy. A very nice young man assisted me today and all was well (5*s) until I got to the cash register, where a very aggressive, fear-mongering young woman tried to badger me into an extremely expensive extended warranty. Would have been 5 stars based on today, had it not been for her. Left me feeling uncomfortable about returning to Best Buy for future electronics purchases. She made me really uncomfortable, as though she were trying to hit a sales quota instead of asking questions about my needs and budget and taking those into consideration.
