Tried to return a best buy protection plan within the 30 days with receipt and keeping the item purchased.
Customer service employee would not do it and told me to go back to original store. I came to this store for convenience and bestbuy states any bestbuy store can return bestbuy items/warranty.
Asked for supervisor and team lead stated he can return the warranty, but needs the item in hand to do it. He stated he needed to return the item with warranty then resell me the same item, but it needed to have the physical item in hand to do.
Item # is on receipt, but he stated he can not punch it in. He did not seem to understand how inventory and UPCs work. He refused to return the warranty because if he returned the item and resold it to me without the physical item being in the store he would have -1 on inventory.
Having worked Electronics retail before I think they have some kind of warranty quota per store or employee that returns reduce, So they rather inconvenience their customers than provide proper service.
No store manager available so I will have to make my way to the original store which is inconvenient. Apparently they are the only ones able to make an exception for for having the physical UPC available to scan.

Daksh provided great customer service. He helped me order a birthday gift and made sure the options we were considering would arrive by the date I needed, which really helped narrow things down!

Went in to drop off 5 Amazon returns for Purolator on Friday. Staff quickly guided me over to the counter, she seems a little lost about how to process it.
After a while she said everything is done, I asked for receipt or some sort of confirmation that return was processed. She said there are none. Fair enough because some return places don’t have them, I know Canada Post do. She told me just check the tracking number online.
BUT, some of these have to be dropped off at a certain dates. Some are now past the date. It has been 2 days and it still showing as not being dropped off.
Phone number for the store is automated, there’s no way you can reach them about Purolator return, and you can’t even asked to speak to the staff. Most frustrating phone line ever for my situation.
My returns worth about $450. I am worried now…

I recently bought a usb flash drive here. Can't figure out how to make it work on my laptop. Unfortunately because I opened the package cannot get a refund or exchange :( I guess if you aren't good with technology then don't shop here.

I purchased a washer and dryer on January 4. The invoice clearly stated that delivery and installation would happen on January 20.
However, no one showed up, and I received no call, no email, and no notification at all.
I had to go back to the store myself to ask what happened. Only then was I told that I now need to wait until February 5, and even worse, I was informed that the dryer has not been shipped at all.
The only solutions offered were:
1. Wait until February 5 with no clear guarantee, or
2. Cancel the order and get a refund.
This was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially for such a basic and essential household purchase. The lack of communication and poor coordination is unacceptable. I expected much better service.
