I went to the Apple Store expecting a smooth and positive experience, especially when buying a new phone, but it felt surprisingly underwhelming. I asked to purchase a phone and was directed to express checkout. When it was my turn, the interaction started off awkwardly — instead of a confident or welcoming approach, the response to my questions was hesitant (“um, eh…”), which didn’t inspire much confidence or enthusiasm. While waiting for the phone, I was asked to scan a QR code, but the link didn’t open. Without asking, the staff member then began enabling cellular access for the Apple Store app on my phone, which felt inappropriate. The bigger issue came later: I learned that newer models no longer have a SIM tray. I currently use a physical SIM and wasn’t prepared to pay extra to convert to eSIM. This ultimately stopped me from completing the purchase. Nothing was terrible, but the overall experience lacked the seamless, elevated, and thoughtful feeling you’d expect — especially when considering a $2000 purchase. I left feeling disappointed and somewhat frustrated. I hope this feedback is helpful.

I found the service here phenomenal. I ordered an Apple Watch on the online store for pickup at this location. I was in the store about 60 seconds and the watch was in my hand. Super efficient as always Apple.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at the Apple Store Pacific Centre. After being directed to the second floor for technical support, I was told I needed to book an appointment with a wait time of about 35 minutes, which I agreed to. However, things went downhill when I was handed over to a staff member named Josue (short ponytail and beard). After I explained my issue, he suggested I update my phone’s software, which can take 30–40 minutes. I agreed to try that, but I also clearly asked him to book an appointment for me at the same time so I wouldn’t end up wasting even more time if the update didn’t fix the issue. He refused to do something as simple and reasonable as booking the appointment and showed no effort to understand my concern. His attitude came across as dismissive and unhelpful, as if he just didn’t want to deal with it. Because of this, I was left with two bad options: either spend 30–40 minutes updating my phone and then potentially wait another 35+ minutes for help, or start the entire process over. That’s a complete waste of a customer’s time and not what I expect from Apple. Very disappointing service. Staff should be trained to handle basic requests with common sense and professionalism.

I arrived at the store 40 minutes before it closed. When I arrived I was asked what I wanted to do and I said: purchase a phone. 20 minutes later it is finally my turn in line and the person says there is not enough time to do the necessary processes that I should come back another day. This is unacceptable, they should to a better triage at the entrance and explain that depending if you want to trade in your old phone or look ag financing options there might not be enough time.

Before going to this Apple Store, I checked Apple’s website, selected my specific iPad model and was quoted $165 for a battery replacement. Based on that, I booked an appointment expecting a straightforward paid service. When I got there, the technician told me my iPad Pro 12.9 is now classified as “vintage” and refused to replace the battery or offer any solution. Not only did they not honor the service they quoted online, but they also wasted my time My iPad is working perfectly fine. It has the latest iOS update and the technician told me it will continue receiving updates until the end of 2026. Yet Apple refuses to service the battery and calls it a vintage device! If that’s the case, why is it still listed on their website with a battery replacement price? Why allow customers to book appointments for a service they won’t provide? Very poor experience with Apple customer support. I spent around $2000 on this device and now they offer only $225 trade-in value to push me into buying a new iPad. That’s not gonna happen. If Apple thinks I’m going to spend another $2000 after this experience, they’re wrong. This service model is not sustainable, and I will not repeat the same mistake. At the very least, Apple could have offered a reasonable alternative or closest next-generation replacement If they cannot provide battery service for my iPad. Apple has lost a long-standing customer.
