    Bought a PS5 pro online for store pick up. Picked it up, no issue. As i was about to walk out the store, a best buy staff approached me and said “ this is an empty box right?” while put her hand under the box trying to feel it. Seriously, how can people like her be even employed especially as a customer service I assume based on outfit. Like I was just walking around holding an empty PS5 box trying to steal it and leave the store? After I said I literally just bought it as a pick up order, she looked like i was lying and kept staring at me and the box without apologizing or anything. I don’t what kind of people this best buy is hiring but i’m not going back. Please fire the incompetent staff especially the ones greeting customers or whatever they are supposed to do. It’s really not a good look. PS5 pro is nice tho, worth the upgrading from base model. Update: Contact best buy using their website as per their replies to other negative reviews. Similar experience to the store. lol. I provided the detail of the visit. The agent said they will make a note. I then asked if I would hear anything back. The agent typed some sentences that don’t even make sense and just ended the chat… The exact reply:” sure as well let me ask for a callback form the store as well it will take 24 hours as well”.

    Left me stranded with no phone signal after buying a new phone plan with them and was told to leave . I came in to switch out my phone plan and once I had my old plan cancelled they printed out a QR code that needed wifi to scan. I asked them for help and they told me they dont give wifi to costumers and told me to either run across the mall to the starbucks before it closes or to the mcdonalds a block down. I told them I was unfamiliar with the area and they told me I had to leave. Also, he Staff here will never inform about promotions and you'll end up paying full price unless you bring it up.

    I visited Best Buy to purchase a new iPhone and was initially assisted by Karan. At that time, I only had my passport with me, as I had lost my wallet a few days earlier. He informed me that I also needed to bring my PR card. I went back home, retrieved the required ID, and returned to the store. By then, Karan was busy and handed me over to another representative, Balshinder. Unfortunately, my experience with him was very disappointing. First, he did not seem interested in helping me and spent time standing in front of me chatting with other team members while I waited. Second, he immediately stated that a PR card was not acceptable as identification. It appeared that he was not familiar with what a PR card is. For clarity, PR stands for Permanent Resident, and it is a valid and important form of government-issued identification. The very next day, I visited the Best Buy location on Scott Road, where Mayank assisted me. He was able to help me get the plan using only my PR Card and did not ask for my Passport or SIN number at all. This raises concerns about inconsistency in knowledge or service. Either other sales representatives are better trained than Balshinder, or he was intentionally unwilling to help. I would like to remind staff that this is a professional workplace, not a personal space. Customers spend a significant amount of time waiting in line, and we expect staff to be attentive, knowledgeable, and respectful while doing their jobs.

    I bought a Xmas present for my son and after playing with it a few times, he decided the device was not something he enjoyed. Best Buy had the extended return policy because of the holidays and we went to the store for a full refund. Imagine our surprise when we were told that the return would not be honoured because of some fine print on their website. Anyways, we waited patiently for the manager Navyn to resolve our issue. She offered us store credit for the full amount, which my son happily accepted. That was all of his Xmas gift money. While waiting, I was having a conversation with my son about how he felt wronged. Navyn changed both our minds by offering the store credit, we would have spent the cash there anyways but we would have avoided Best Buy unless absolutely needed. My son was happy that he wrote his own review, he is still a young child.

    I would have given zero stars if I could. This was easily the worst Best Buy location I’ve ever visited. I stood in line for over two hours, only to be told it would take another 45 minutes. To make matters worse, they started taking customers from behind or outside the line, which felt completely unfair and poorly managed. There was no clear communication, no organization, and no respect for customers’ time. I understand that stores get busy, but this situation was handled terribly. Waiting this long without updates or solutions is unacceptable. The overall experience was frustrating and exhausting. I usually like shopping at Best Buy, but this location was a huge disappointment. Management seriously needs to improve how lines and customer flow are handled. Worst location ever.
