    I bounced back and forth making a review, but the employee who fixed my phone not only made fun of my name saying “I’ll call you (dramatically) whateeeeevvver you want” then proceeded to change every contact in my phone to have the name I changed because of a domestic abuse situation. I don’t know how to change it back and I really just didn’t appreciate the way he talked to me at all. The other Apple workers were lovely when talking to me, so it was definitely a shock when he made fun of my name then changed my name in my phone. This will be my last Apple phone to avoid situations like this, because I can’t say I have anything positive to say except for the other employees and the person in the back that changed my battery.

    This is, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and the most unprofessional treatment I’ve encountered anywhere in Canada. I came into the store to hand in my old phone and upgrade to a new one. Before anything was wiped, I made it crystal clear to ASHLEY that my 2,500 photos and videos needed to be fully backed up. I asked more than once. I didn’t rush. I didn’t assume. I made sure. I even paid extra for additional storage just to avoid exactly this kind of disaster. And somehow, almost everything was still erased. Thousands of irreplaceable memories, gone, because your staff failed to do their job properly. When I came back to address it, instead of taking responsibility, ALEX immediately tried to push the blame onto me. I was talked over and treated like I had done something wrong. Then ELNAZ showed absolutely no seriousness about the situation. No real apology. No accountability. Just attitude. Not only was there a massive mistake, but the complete refusal to own it is what makes this infuriating. I did everything I was supposed to do. Your employees reassured me. I trusted them. And then when their mistake cost me 2,500 personal memories, I was treated like it was somehow my fault. That is unacceptable. This wasn’t a small inconvenience, this was negligence followed by disrespect. I expect this to be taken seriously and handled properly, because no customer deserves to be treated this way.

    This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I went to the store to hand in my old phone because I was buying a new one, and before my phone was wiped, I asked ASHLEY three separate times if all 2,500 of my photos and videos would be fully backed up. She lied directly to my face, assuring me that everything would be saved. To be extra careful, I even purchased additional iCloud storage. When I got home, only one photo and one video were backed up everything else was permanently lost. When I returned to the store to address this issue, ALEX (manager) immediately blamed me and said it was my fault. While I was trying to explain the situation, he put his hand in my face to stop me from speaking. He also said I “should have checked the phone,” even though I had done exactly that and asked multiple times if all data would be backed up. ELNAZ(manager) laughed when we asked about compensation and offered no apology. The only compensation offered was a phone case. There was mockery, dishonesty, and complete disrespect. Losing 2,500 irreplaceable personal memories is entirely their fault, and the way this was handled is unacceptable. I trusted Apple employees, followed their instructions, and took extra steps to protect my data. Instead, I was lied to, dismissed, mocked, and blamed. This experience demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic human respect, and I expect it to be addressed immediately.

    one star because I had to enter something to leave this review. The apple employees will tell you "get this screen protector for $60 for free replacement whenever for 2 years" but what they're selling you is absolute crap and a lie. The replacement is NOT free so one line advice, DO NOT BUY THE $60 SCREEN PROTECTOR AT ANY COST, waste ur money elsewhere at least you'll get a decent quality product.
