    Several weeks ago I ordered XL cartridges for my Deskjet Printer from ABN Retail. I mistakenly thought I was ordering directly from Best which is just 10 minutes from where I live, here in BC. I was quite surprised to discover they were actually coming from Ontario! When they arrived, I discovered they didn't fit because my printer is so small. I very much needed to get some pages printed off, so I was quite disappointed. I had also ordered a Black cartridge and & Coloured cartridge, which cost $90. I was very afraid I wouldn't be able to get my money back from a business in Ontario - but they surprised me! As soon as I contacted them, they emailed me the very next day! Very impressive! They told me I just had to mail them back and they would refund my money. They also emailed a return label, which made my life so much easier! THANK YOU, ABN RETAIL! KUDOS TO YOU!

    Would give 0 stars if possible.I spoke with an employee about issues I was having with one of the attachments for my dyson air warp . I specifically mentioned that it had been over a month since purchase, and I was told it wouldn’t be a problem and that I could bring it in for an exchange. When I went back to the store, the customer service staff initially told me they couldn’t process the exchange because it was past the return window. I explained the situation, and they said they would check with a manager and that it “shouldn’t be an issue.” However, when the manager, Mariene, came over, she immediately refused the exchange without even asking about the defect. I explained again that I had been told by their own employee to bring it in, but she dismissed it by saying employees can’t make managerial decisions. That left me wondering—how is that the customer’s responsibility? If staff are giving incorrect information, that’s an internal issue, not something customers should be penalized for. To make things worse, while I was still trying to have a conversation, the manager simply walked away. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience overall. Poor communication between staff and management, and even worse customer service. I won’t be returning.

    We purchased an over-the-stove microwave from Best Buy and when it was delivered the box was damaged in the corner. After expressing concern, the delivery personal said there would not be any damage to the microwave as it was fully protected by the styrofoam under the cardboard. When we were ready to install it, we could see it was clearly damaged. Best Buy would not replace it. Instead, they asked us to install it as is, they they would be willing to send a service member to inspect/repair the damage at approx. $150. Very disappointed in Best Buy and we will not ever purchase anything from them again.

    Tried to call to check if something was in stock as there was one (1) listed in stock online which is anyones guess if they actually had it. So I called to ask a PERSON to see if it was there. Got put through to an AI agent that told me to check online and wouldn't actually call the store for me. Quit replacing human work with AI

    I had an incredibly stressful situation at checkout, since I forgot my credit card PIN and genuinely thought I wasn't going to be able to complete my purchase. But the cashier at the checkout was absolutely amazing. She made it so quick that I couldn't say much about it , and found a solution by running the transaction in a way that didn't require me to input my PIN. She went above and beyond to make sure I didn't leave empty-handed, and I truly appreciated her kindness and quick thinking. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but to whoever was working the checkout at Best Buy Uptown, THANK YOU. She is the kind of employee that makes customers want to come back. Genuinely one of the best retail experiences I've had. Management, please recognize this woman, she deserves a raise! 🙌
