unbelievably rude service from this location. I dealt with customer service twice to solve an issue. I bought a product from this location during Christmas, and it ended up being a gift I couldn't use. I had lost the receipt so when I went back there I showed them the product and the exact time and date just to ask him to print me another receipt, they said they couldn't find the transaction. I wasted an hour there...and left without a solution..they told me to call customer service and they could help me. I feel was told that so I would leave. it was the wrong suggestion as the people on the phone said this is only handled in store. more of my time wasted...imagine being sent on a wild goose chase by the manager (a very rude female) to go call customer service on the phone... they would create a case number and it would be looked into...the people on the phone never heard of this process... seriously best buy get your act together....you can't treat customers like this...
a week later... i found the receipt at home amongst my things. I went back to the store ... they questioned me and asked why did you wait so long to do an exchange? I was well within the 30 days... it has only been a few weeks... it was a rude question... that made me feel like they were suspicious of me for no reason... then they said this item doesn't match the receipt. I don't know how that could have happened as it's the only one I bought from that store and it likely was an error on their system. the item scanned on the receipt was the same product, same price but a different colour. they refused to acknowledge that and stood by the fact that the item didn't match the receipt. they wouldn't do anything about it and said sorry too bad. so now I'm stuck with this item they wouldn't offer any solutions except come back with the correct reciept. basically accusing me of lying. I was fed up at that point. another hour of my time was wasted... I really tried to be reasonable with these people that worked there... i just asked them to simply tell me what to do... what can I do about this and they just stared at me blankly and said it's too bad we don't have the right receipt. they wouldn't really try to empathize with my situation and I just wanted to exchange this item for another one. they said we checked the security footage of the sale on that date and the item looks different. I was shocked they checked security footage on me . I had a hard time believing what they said and asked them to please show me the footage so I can see what they meant by that. they said they can't show me the footage so I basically had to just go off of their word. It doesn't make any sense.
it wasn't just the fact they didn't solve the issue, it was how unwilling they wereto offer any kind of solution, and how rude their tone of voice was in this situation. I was rude toward them myself at the end as I left... not my best moment and I don't feel good about it... I was just so frustrated by their service.
they acted like "we have a policy... too bad... tough luck". all of this for a 30 dollar item that didn't match the colour... everything else equal... like really? they couldn't figure out a solution or make an exception...I definitely wouldn't buy anything significant from them anymore .. in the past I've bought a TV and a computer from this location. I've shopped at Best Buy for decades.
...I used to trust this franchise and would be excited to shop there... but based on my time wasted, and how I was treated... wow... I won't be shopping there again.

It used to be my favorite store based on location and warm welcoming staff. But yesterday my overall thought process turned back 180 degree. Best Buy advertised for price match with other competitions in the same region , so I approached for the same on a new LG TV. I was so surprised to see the behavior from the store manager , thinking myself as I have made a big mistake by asking for a price match what I am getting from one of their competitors in 5km radius. Interestingly Best Buy quoted me CAD $850 more than what I am getting from other store and that is what they call price match. The behavior was also not welcoming from the manager to greet well a customer , it was more or less an ignorant attitude. It looks like we are the buyers who treat this store as best store but store manager doesn't care at all and judging people by the cover page , without looking into their existing purchasing profile in the store.
Anyways , I don't want to blame the store; there are many staffs who deserve 10/10 for their professionalism, sales mindset and warm welcoming. Not just get things wrong due to a single person.

Wanted to use their laptop trade-in program to go towards a new computer. They offered me $130 for a like-new condition Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop with all its original box manuals, spare parts etc… the same model is listed on their website used open box for $1,499.99…and they only offered me $130…dumbest trade in program with no actual way to value a laptop besides “whats the condition, how much storage and what cpu does it have” and even then still extremely undervalues what its actually worth. Dont get me wrong I knew i wasnt going to get a full asking price for it, but i thought I’d get some value, not pennies to the dollar…they're literally going to flip that and sell it same day for 12x what they offer in-store credit for…worst trade in program I’ve ever seen

TLDR; Mohit the pick-up specialist resolved my issue and was great. 5 stars for the experience of fixing my order.
Had to resolve an issue with an online order that I cancelled, and the call center was 0 help, so I ended up coming in pretty frustrated. They were at the pick-up desk and they helped me right away, getting the basic details and already coming up with solutions that would get it fixed today. Mohit was good enough to explain what the process would be, what needed to be done, and made it much less stressful. Dealt with it personally, stepped aside from the counter to handle it immediately, and even made sure that the refund went onto my card so that I wouldn't be waiting days for it to be processed back to me.
Not happy I had to come in person to fix an online order, but thats not the staff's fault. Mohit did a great job handling this, and I wanted to give them some credit. Customer service during the holidays/post-holidays can suck, and they were their badge title- a specialist. 👍👍👍
