    I sent out an Apple Watch for repair (under Geek Squad Protection) on September 18th, 2025 and was told that I would receive a gift card in a couple of weeks because the watch was not repairable. It has been 2 months with multiple visits in person asking for an update, I still do not have my gift card. Ive spoken to the assistant manager and multiple staff including Geek Squad and all they have to say is that “you will receive it in 2 weeks”. No one seems to know what they need to do to make this happen. DO NOT BUY BEST BUY PROTECTION AND DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS USELESS STORE!

From the moment I walked in, they treated me with genuine care, professionalism, and respect. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience possible. Their teamwork, communication, and positive energy made everything feel effortless.     I wanted to use this black friday and buy new laundry machine, dryer, and a dishwasher. So i went to this bestbuy on monday. The appliance team told me that “VIP sales event is happening on Wednesday” so i went back on wednesday. I found out… that the sales event is for some specific items only and there was no difference for me. I asked couple other sales rep just in case it was just that person’s mistake. But… nobody was able to explain to me how the wednesday sales event was going to be better deal for me. Thanks for wasting my time. I still bought all three machines. I bought the delivery and the installation packages too. I was told that the installation will be sometime on Nov 24 Monday. Then when the installer (seems to be a different contractor) called me to setup the appointment, she told me Nov 24 wont work and there is nothing she can do so i must call best buy to complain OR adjust all my schedules again. The appliance sales team people were really nice when i met them. They just… dont seem to know what will actually happen VS what they tried to do for me. And then the installer team will just pass the buck onto each other and not try to take responsibility and then the customer just gets stuck in the middle with so much stress.

    The staff here seem to know nothing of customer service. I asked one of the employees where to find a listed item on the shelf despite it not being there. He didn't even speak to me, look at me or speak a word. He just scanned the QR on his phone and showed it to me. Other employees are dissmissive and act as if you've come to their house and you're asking them for favors. I have lived in Coquitlam for more than 10 years and this is a first. They didn't even bag my purchase and threw the bag when I asked for one. I have seen better customer service at McDonald's.

    Spending time in this branch is extremely pleasant. The employees in the mobile department are very polite and professional. Mr. Omid is extremely serious, but respectful and friendly, and patiently answers all our questions. The interesting part of this part is Amir. A happy, energetic young man, ready for action. This time I came here to change my SIM card network. Amir welcomed us with a cheerful disposition and finally did my job carefully. Amir's excessive energy was very pleasant to me and I enjoyed both his professional ethics and his energy with him.
