    My experience at the Apple Store in Coquitlam was absolutely terrible. I had a Genius Bar appointment for 12:30 PM, arrived at 12:35 PM, and was told to sit and wait. From that point, the service became completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was told, “You’re next after this gentleman,” but that never happened. I waited 25–30 minutes, and during that time a new customer came in who clearly acted like he already knew the employee. The way they interacted made it look like the employee was helping his friend. That person was taken in immediately while I was still waiting. It felt like pure favoritism and even nepotism, with no proper system or fairness at all. On top of that, several employees were just walking around talking to each other, while only one person seemed to actually be helping anyone. When I asked for clarification, I was given confusing excuses like, “Your name being at the top doesn’t mean you’ll be served next,” which made no sense. My five-minute delay somehow turned into a one-hour wait, with zero respect for my time or my appointment. If you expect fairness, respect, or any sense of being valued as a customer, avoid this store completely. This was the worst Apple Store experience I’ve had anywhere. I wish I could give 0 start

    Why do I need a “genius” to drop off my laptop after repairs? Additionally, if you’re not going to honour appointment times- quit monopolizing customers into requiring Apple support, and allow them to seek customer service elsewhere. It’s astonishing to see so many employees standing around, simply chatting amongst themselves, and yet not one of them can go into the back to retrieve a repair.

    Avoid this store! They were supposed to replace the battery of my iPhone, but they damaged the display and had to replace it for free. They assured me the phone would remain water-resistant as before, yet I later found condensation inside both the rear and front cameras. The manager, K., said this was “normal” for all iPhones (can you imagine it?!) and told me I would need to pay about $780 for an iPhone replacement (12 Pro MAX). However, when I visited another Apple Store, they confirmed that the previous service had failed, and they replaced my iPhone for free.

    We got our new iPhone 17 and experienced some esim activation issues because of the bugs from the phone. We are not sure why and there seems to be some competitions or back end situations, which wasn’t related to us as customers, the Apple Staff asked us the first question from the Genius is: “Is there a reason why you got the phone from Fido?” We are wondering of why the staff asked Apple customer with such a question - is it a blaming question to the customers of why we are not going through Apple to connect the Fido phone plan, or is it even a concern for the staff to know about the reason of why? I suggest this type of question required some clarification of intention when they asked customer with question like this. It is either, Rogers, Fido, Bell, Telus, Chatr, Freedom, Virgin etc. and I guess, why we need to go through Apple for the phone plan? Are there some special promotions that can be shared with us? Part 2: Ending up the Genius Bar staff didn’t even offer to help us complete the transfer of files. This type of customer service really need to change and improve. Very simple: let your customer to understand their benefits and advantage/disasvantage; provide them with customer service support - that’s all it needs to make customer happy.

    I had a scheduled appointment and arrived on time. After waiting for an extended period with no updates, I approached a staff member (a bald asian guy) to inquire about the delay. To my surprise, the response I received was, "Someone will come grab you. If you cannot wait, you can leave." This remark was not only dismissive but also unprofessional. As a customer who scheduled an appointment in advance and made the effort to show up on time, I expected to be treated with basic respect and courtesy. Instead, I was made to feel like my presence was an inconvenience. I understand that stores can get busy and delays happen, but that does not excuse such an attitude. This interaction left a very negative impression and does not reflect the standard of service I have come to expect from Apple. I hope you take this matter seriously and address the conduct of your staff accordingly.
