Took my Phone in to get the screen replaced. Superb experience. Multiple store staff greeted me and were very friendly. I forgot my password and had to wait an hour for the security delay to end, the staff reserved me instantly with no issues. I came back after, they fixed it and I was on my way.

Shop anywhere else, not only does the same condescending man with the hat still work there. I have been mislead now on two separate occasions. The first time being told to buy the Apple Pencil instead of the Apple Pencil pro as there is "no difference" (there is a difference and it was not returnable). Now I just purchased my mom and Apple Watch for Christmas and was told I could return it for full value even though there was a promotion, they kept 70$ what a sweet way to run a business congrats guys maybe consider training your staff or hiring more competent workers....

I had a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience at the Apple Store in Coquitlam.
I came in to trade in a brand-new iPhone 16 toward an iPhone 17 Pro. From the beginning, the employee who assisted me (named Gordon, possibly a manager) spoke in a condescending and dismissive tone. He repeatedly questioned why I “needed” the Pro model and insisted that the regular iPhone 17 was “95% as good,” even after I explained that I create content and videos. I felt pressured to justify my personal purchase decision instead of receiving neutral, professional advice.
The interaction became more uncomfortable when my brother briefly left the store for a haircut and the employee made a sarcastic comment along the lines of, “Why does he need a haircut anyway? It’s just going to grow back in a month.” This was unnecessary, unprofessional, and unrelated to my transaction.
I remained polite throughout, but as a young Asian woman, the overall interaction felt dismissive and hostile. Regardless of intent, the service made me feel disrespected and talked down to.
To make matters worse, during the trade-in process I was told I could not keep the charging cable from my brand-new iPhone 16 because it was a “trade-in requirement.” After later checking Apple’s trade-in policy, I learned that charging cables are not required, which made me feel that policies were misrepresented.
I understand the store was busy, but that is not an excuse for poor customer service or incorrect information. I expect better professionalism and respect from an Apple Store.

I bought my cellphone here. What I liked about the staff was that they were very patient with me when I was transferring data between my devices and were offering help. The staff are professional, friendly, and respectful. They would even offer you other brands and devices if they find out their devices don’t quite match your needs.
I always feel genuinely valued as a customer at this location. Recommended!

Now I see why this location has the worst ratings out of all the locations. Terrible store I would avoid this Apple Store as these guys are unprofessional and have no idea how to speak to customers. They just give you the runaround and make your life harder so their life is easier. I purchased online an iPhone charging cable a simple charging cable. I thought I would use the Apple Pay to purchase it because it’s supposed to be fast and convenient, but I show up at the store and I showed them my order number and receipts. And apparently they don’t have the cord so I drove all the way there wasted my time and my money waited in line for my turn just for them to say they don’t have the cord. And for them to tell me I have to wait till next week to come back and pick it up and waste some more time and some more gas. I said you shouldn’t be taking money from my debit card If you don’t have the item that I’m wanting all that does is waste my time and energy and money. I show up expecting my charging cable as I just purchased it. And they want me to come back next week?! How do you guys not have a charging cable in your store? It’s literally a charging cable and you guys don’t even have that at an Apple Store? it makes absolutely no sense. They’re so quick to take the money from my debit card but then will refuse to give me a refund or give me my charging cable that I purchased so then I had to walk out of the store with no cable and no refund paying half $100 for a cable just to get the runaround and waste my time. The only thing they could offer me was to spend more money to buy another one. yeah of course Apple that’s something they would say just spend more money. 😂🤦🏼♂️
