I went to Apple Store at Metrotown with after work to get an iPhone 16 to replace my 6-year-old iPhone. The staff name is Russell, was very helpful. He seemed really busy, but I’m happy with my new iPhone. In the future, I’ll definitely come back to the Apple Store at Metropolis at Metrotown to get a new MacBook to replace my 10-year-old laptop. You guys are stars!

Dan was very helpful during my last visit. He patiently explained in details all I needed to know about the product I had enquiries on. It was such a good experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Apple Store. I brought in a brand-new, never-activated iPhone that failed on first power-on. Even Apple’s own diagnostics failed with a hardware error, yet I was told my only option was to pay $500 for a repair. What was most frustrating wasn’t just the outcome, but the complete lack of empathy. The senior advisor, Derrek, was dismissive and offered no meaningful explanation or willingness to escalate, despite clear signs this was a defective device out of the box. For a company that prides itself on customer experience, this visit felt cold, transactional, and unhelpful. I expected better from Apple.

Not sure if this location is under new management, but the service quality at this location has been VERY disappointing. Our work offers a discount for apple product (accessories) purchases. I've made many purchases in the past at this location and never had an issue.. as long as i can prove my employment (ie. paystub via online employee portal site OR my email that has my full name on it!). UNTIL RECENTLY, the three times i made my purchase here.. they're asking me to provide an employee photo ID?? Yes, i work for a big company, so i do have a work ID, but who would bring that when they go out shopping?? Government ID I get, for proof of purchase. BUT employment ID? Seriously? Lady, i made the purchase using employment portal. How is that NOT ENOUGH?

Honestly probably the worst service I’ve had at an Apple Store, and this is the closest one to me. I’ve had AirPods Pro 3 replacements done and the first time it was replaced I had to wait 30 minutes to get an genius technician to even come to me after the scheduled time, and when he arrived I had to find out they didn’t have the part for my repair so I had to come back the next 3 days to actually get the part and I was able to actually get the replacement done. But then it turned out that replacement was also a defect in which I had to commute an hour back to this place and get it replaced again and when talking about my frustration to the genius technician he spoke with such a rude passive aggressive attitude like he just wanted to get the service over and done with and that he didn’t care about the time and money I’ve wasted over the course of a week. Following the next 2 weeks after I had a express replacement iPhone 16 pro that I had received prior and that one had iPhone hardware that became defective in less 2 weeks of use that made my cellular completely unusable; so I had to get it repaired. Got to the Apple Store and waited about an hour for the repair to be complete and after it was complete they told me there were no issues and passed all diagnostics so i went to a store to get a screen protector applied then went home and I started cleaning and setting up my phone to then i find out there was dust underneath the camera lens that was never there before. So I went back again and they told me in order to get rid of the dust underneath they would have to remove the screen protector and redo the entire process; and when I told them about how I frustrating this situation was they could atleast apply a complimentary screen protector to which I’m told they’re not liable for that type of thing and instead they urged me to pay $60 for their screen protector which came with unlimited warranty t which I was baffled and just went home to get another express replacement. These people do not care about your time, money or providing good customer service and they will tell you that straight to your face. The only technician who was ever great was a man named Jason and he probably carries that entire team on his back with making sure people get what they paid for. As a fan of apple and a fan of always giving customer service workers the benefit of the doubt, this kind of treatment is unacceptable and makes people not even want to purchase their products, all they care about is making commission off getting a sale done off the most expensive latest and greatest tech they have at their disposal offering to customers. If you are wanting to purchase an Apple product please consider looking at different alternatives like marketplace, or using your phone carrier for deals.
