  Got told this was a 24-hour walk-in clinic by Valencia Pet Hospital, they confirmed it, my dog almost wretched on their floors and then when I brought up the humane society free wellness exam they denied the walk in and scheduled to take him two days later when his sickness would get worse than right now while his sickness is bad enough. Refuse to ever go here again. Cactuses line the walkway and while dogs can be well trained my dog kept trying to sniff it and almost got poked TWICE. Dangerous 😡

  Do NOT take your pets here. We felt like we were being pressured to either pay thousands we don’t have or euthanize our dog, and threatened with animal control when we said no. They kept changing the price and made everything confusing on purpose. Our dog is still alive and doing better at home — they just wanted money. I understand that everyone has their own experiences with Civano Animal Hospital. We had a great experience with them in the past, but this time was absolutely terrible and horrific. It involved my two innocent children and our dog. I was so exhausted, terrified, and overwhelmed, and my children were crying. I can only imagine how my children felt, when the doctor kept saying that she wouldn’t make the drive home, and the kind thing to do for her would be to euthanize her. If I had been a bit more overwhelmed or less stubborn, our Winnie Pie would be gone now. That’s not medicine; it’s pressure. Just be cautious and ask for more information. Request details about the cost and don’t let anyone bully or threaten you into doing something you’ll regret. There are always other options. Never rush into something you don’t want to do

  My dog stepped on something and got stung. This happened on a Sunday evening. The team at Civano animal Hospital told me to head over and they would see my dog. The technician assessed the situation and both her and the vet took great care of my furbaby. Thanks Civano animal Hospital!

  I used to recommend Dr Tara Farrell to everyone I had a cat with mega colon who needed deobstipation after his negligent vet left poop in him after an enema, then refused to help me with the surgery. I was a mess trying to get someone to help him before he died. Tara agreed on very short notice and I thought it meant she really cared. When I came to see her yesterday for a different cat with a potential obstruction, I paid for X-rays and emergency exam. Both Tara and the vet tech were ICE COLD, no real empathy or care for my animal in sight.. vet tech seem scared to handle my cat, who did not act aggressive the entire time we were there. If you’re scared of animals you have the wrong job, hun. I got told that they could not tell if my cat was obstructed, looking at the xray, she could be or could not be. I could spend another 600 dollars the next day for more potentially inconclusive photos Left feeling worse than when I came in Can’t believe it ..and it’s not due to the X-rays .. I know they’re difficult to work with and not conclusive..it was the demeanor of both of these people.. and just the practice Maybe if you cannot tell if the intestine is scrunched due to a string or if it was moving for the photo, take another one on house… but you would have to be a real vet that loves animals dearly to do those kinds of gestures. They sure line their pockets though. I do not expect anything free but I do expect empathy. I will never come here or recommend this place again.
