I’m beyond irritated after what happened at this Verizon store. I showed up around 6:15 PM to possibly purchase a brand-new iPad, ready to spend good money. There were three employees total — a manager and two staff. The manager told me to “hang out for a bit” and that someone would help me shortly.
So I waited. Thirty minutes. The store got uncomfortably hot, and still no one bothered to check in with me. I stepped next door to grab a quick drink, not thinking for a second that they would completely bail on helping me. I walked back at 7:01 PM to see an employee literally locking the door right in front of me before walking away without a word.
I knocked, and the manager came to the door — only to refuse to let me in, saying, “Sorry, it’s after seven.” Seriously? After I already waited half an hour? After he told me someone would help me? What kind of customer service is that?
This was rude, disrespectful, and absolutely terrible business practice, especially right before the holidays when people are out trying to make big purchases. They are going to lose loyal, long-term customers, all because of laziness, poor communication, and a total lack of regard for the people keeping their business running.
I genuinely hope no one else has to deal with what I experienced, because this was an embarrassment for a company as large as Verizon. What a shame.

i was offered a new iPhone line for free here by an associate. he seemed very honest in person, but just in case i asked that it was definitel free and he said it was.
fast-forward to today and i see the new line on my bill, adding $80 to it!!! why would I want to pay for a new line that i didn't need?
now i've just spent half the day trying to cancel and get a refund from verizon support but they keep trying to upsell me on other products.

Dishonest employees. Purchased 3 phones that he “checked corporate inventory” and that they would be delivered in 2-5 business days. He lied. Soon after sale received notice stating phones wouldn’t ship for another 2+ weeks. Corporate lied and stated phone hasn’t been released yet, I17 Pro Max was made available 9/19/25. They even sold me cases and screen protectors for it. Another lie! Either way, store/salesman reported. Filing with BBB. Have all interactions in store and over phone recorded incase this isn’t rectified ASAP.

My family has moved to new service that actually have locations that can help. That's our recommendation!
