Used Geek Squad to fix my broken iPhone screen. The gentleman who handled the order was the best thing about this entire experience, as he was a nice guy.
It took over 3 weeks with no contact before they called to tell me the part was in!!
Also, in worse news, you CANNOT call the store directly. The phone # takes you to an auto bot that takes you to an offshore call center where they tell you that they cannot transfer you to the store & they cannot see anything more than what you already know from tracking your order’s progress.
I was told that if I wanted to know IF my ordered part was finally in the store, I’d have to GO BACK TO THE STORE and ask. For me this is almost an hour round trip, just to be told it’s not there yet.
Worst customer service due to corporate deciding to offshore & autobot instead of just letting a person call the store & talk to a human who is there & knows something helpful

I just called to buy the new iphone and their phone system said they can’t help me with cell phones over the phone then hung up on me. Just lost a 1500$ sale because of it. Won’t be getting my business for other items as well.

Will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. They made a host of mistakes, and gave me inaccurate statements of their policies, leading to the loss of hundreds of dollars in warranty that I paid for but due to unknowledgable staff giving me misinformation, making mistakes, several multiple escalations with Geek Squad on their customer service line and assured I would have a resolution by email, no such email ever arriving, I am left with a bunch of "sorry for the inconvenience". It's not inconvenience; you scammed me.
This is a shame. I used to recommend BestBuy to everyone, due to how good their membership program is, and will in fact recommend they stay away from BestBuy in the future.

We purchased several items for setting up a podcasting studio spending nearly $1,500. At checkout the person working there talked us into purchasing the $50 annual membership telling us that it includes price matching. After getting home and setting up the studio I did a price search and found 2 of the items for significantly less. The Rodecaster Pro was $100 less on Amazon as well as on the Rode website. The Shure mic was about $30 less. I want back into Best Buy to have them match the price and was told they do not actually price match. Only limited items shipped direct for Walmart, Amazon and some others I guess. We were not told this. When I told the Best Buy employee that we were lied to and that influenced our decision to purchase the membership. She responded that they didn't lie, just didn't tell us the whole truth. I will not be giving Best Buy any more business because of this experience.
