We went to one Verizon - closed. We googled Verizon and found one store on at 18251 Pima Rd, Scottsdale, AZ open until 6pm. It was 5:30pm - we raced (within the speed limit) to get there before 6pm. The sales guy welcomed us, his name is NATE, remember the name, remember the location. We have been a Verizon customer for 12 years. NATE is by far, the best sales guy we have ever had. Nate was not even going to make a sale tonight, he was trying to help my wife and my 85 year-old mother get her new phone working. Our problem was a real mystery and NATE would not stop until he mastered our issue. We are here visiting but if I lived in Scottsdale of the greater Phoenix area - I would travel to have NATE sell me my new phone plane. Thank you NATE! 5 Stars all the time!
- AAAlecDec 17, 20251.0I visited the Verizon store at 18251 N Pima Rd Ste F130, Scottsdale, AZ 85255 to upgrade my existing phone line using a Verizon offer that was described to me as a device payoff with a free upgrade. The sales associate Sam represented this as a standard upgrade on my current line. After the order was submitted, I was then told that the phone had actually been placed on a new line and that the line would be canceled later. I did not approve any new lines. Sam stated this was done so the device could be shipped and kept as store stock in case of an issue. This was never disclosed upfront and is not what I agreed to. When I checked my account at home, I discovered multiple new orders and new lines that I never authorized. I repeatedly asked Sam to process this as an upgrade on my existing line and was ignored. I was also later told about in store service fees and charges that were never clearly explained before the transaction. Opening new lines and devices on a customer account without consent and claiming they will be canceled later is not acceptable. This exposes customers to billing, credit, and fraud risk and is a clear abuse of account access. I escalated this directly with Verizon fraud and legal to address the unauthorized activity. This was not a misunderstanding. It was misleading at best and fraudulent at worst. I strongly recommend customers carefully review their account activity if they do business at this location.

I was very fortunate to get helped by Nate, he was very knowledgeable and ready to help.
