  How to receive service from a monopoly provider. I drove 35 minutes from Cave Creek to the Apple Store on Scottsdale for a 3:30 slot. Arrive at 3:25 to get service from a sole clerk ,cold as ice. Asked where the Genius Bar was he said wait to get signed in.He then served 2 other customers and then turned to me, “ what do you want”. He asks for my name which I give him and he asks what do you want at the Genius Bar and I replied I didn’t expect to get screened from the Genius Bar. Second “stink eye”. This isn’t working please find another clerk. My mistake . I should have found one but instead I got a middle aged woman who had already been briefed by the first clerk who had identified me a trouble maker. She asked what do you want from the Genius Bar and I’m said my Google “Alexa”doesn’t allow me to reset time without first going to my iPad for the Alexa app. That app directs me to go to IPad settings and then to Ipad device but when I try to get to device I don’t get there.. She says not our product we can’t help. What else do you want. I said on the TikTok app I sometimes get a screen that says not suitable for those under 18.Since I’m 83 I’d like to get rid of that screen. She replied again “ not our product not our problem.” How about YouTube on my IPhone, when I open it I get a screen for upgrade to premium and I’d like to get that screen off my iPhone. Again not or product not our problem. At the end of the dayI drove back 35 minutes back having been screened from the Genius Bar by with clerks with attitude. Not a fun day.

  Do not buy the Belkin screen protectors from here. They claim (sales and Genius Bar) they have a lifetime warranty with Belkin replacing them if anything happens. Welp, something happened and Belkin denied the claim stating they only cover manufacturer’s defects. Save yourself the $40 and buy a screen protector elsewhere.

  I bought a brand new iPhone less than 2 months ago and added AppleCare, thinking I was covered. After multiple service attempts, they couldn’t fix my phone, and I feel completely scammed. Save your money; AppleCare is worthless!

  I have been shopping in Scottsdale Quarter’s Apple for years since they have opened! I have to commend an extraordinary employee. This is the first time in so many years I’ve had such outstanding incredible customer service. From beginning to end, he was incredible! Patient kind knowledgeable, informative, and we couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you Ron McCormick For truly, the best customer service we have ever received in an Apple Store!!! Apple is very lucky to have you as an employee! Your kindness was second to none, and you should actually be running one of the Apple stores!!!

  Awful service at this store. Wait times are unreasonable, they help multiple Pepe at ten same time instead of giving you the time you reserved. I’ve walked in and had a staff member look at me and look away ignoring me and ask the person who came in after me if they needed help!! Even though they had seen me stand in line first, waiting to be helped! Went in for a battery change and was offered a great deal for an upgrade after being told that my carrier plan qualified me for a carrier promotion deal! I confirmed that yet again with the sales person and he said he was absolutely certain my plan qualified. Three billing cycles later and many calls and a visit to the store, turns out my plan never qualified and I am paying full price for a phone I did not really want in the first place and only bought it because of the deal. I was waiting to upgrade to the newer model that now released two months later!!! The salesperson lied and denied everything and said he had told us we needed to change our carrier plan at the time of purchase. I had also asked at the time if a new model wa being released and he said no! He upsold me the phone under false pretext of a carrier promotion and I’m stuck paying full price. No one helped me resolve anything and didn’t bother calling me back after I told them that the salesperson had lied about informing me of about needing a plan change to qualify for the deal. Unacceptable service and behavior from Apple.
