    Came in to get a new phone battery, and I was told I’d be charged $300 if they broke my screen. How could they charge me for their mistake. I will obviously be taking my business somewhere else

    I used to love this place. But I think stores just like this might be a dying breed. A lot of empty shelves. Someone did approached and asked if we needed help in the store which is also not as common these days so I appreciated that.

    Lack of knowledge in the cell phone section for what they could and could not do at Best Buy. Mass confusion really, with 3 different employees telling me 3 different things and then saying they really did not know and the "boss in that area is notoriously difficult to reach".

    ★☆☆☆☆ — Rude Staff, Failed Cancellation, and $872 Still Taken From My Account Let me be straightforward: this was a failure at every level. On March 14, 2026, my wife and I visited the Best Buy at 19th St & Camelback to pick up a television we had ordered online. Before we even reached the counter, we watched the associate berate the customer in front of us. We were then treated the same way — dismissive, condescending, and completely unprofessional. We asked to cancel the order. Instead of handling it, the associate threw a fit, refused to assist us, and called a manager. The manager arrived with the same dismissive energy, refused to give us any written confirmation of the cancellation, and effectively sent us away with nothing. Hours later, Best Buy emailed confirming the cancellation of Order #BBY01-807154627823. Fine. But as of March 18, 2026, the $872 charge is no longer pending — it has permanently posted to my bank account. I now have to dispute this charge with my bank. I did absolutely nothing wrong. Meanwhile, we ordered the same model 10 inches bigger at Costco for around the same price and with a free 5-year warranty. Best Buy wanted to charge more for a extended warranty and a side of disrespect. Best Buy, you have lost a loyal, long-time customer. The employees at this location have no business working in a customer-facing environment. Your brand used to mean something. Right now, it doesn't. Do better.

    Worst retail experience I've had in years. The employee at the counter was rude to the customer ahead of us and then turned that same condescending attitude toward my husband and me. When we decided to cancel our order as a result, she refused to process it until a manager was called over. The manager was no help either — instead of canceling the order, he put it in "pending" status, which means I can't cancel it online and Best Buy is holding my money until March 19th with no written confirmation that anything will be resolved. UPDATE (March 18, 2026): The situation has gotten worse. After waiting for any response, Best Buy finally sent an email confirming my order was canceled on March 14, 2026. However, the $872 charge that was previously pending in my bank account has now posted as a permanent transaction. I am now forced to open a dispute with my bank — something no customer should ever have to do. I also want to address the owner's response suggesting I reach out privately through Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. I do not hold accounts with any of those platforms, nor do I wish to create them. If Best Buy wants to make this right, they can do so here, or by resolving Order #BBY01-807154627823 and returning my $872 promptly. Best Buy was once a retailer people could rely on. Based on my experience — particularly with the staff at the 19th St & Camelback location — that reputation no longer holds. I sincerely hope this review helps others think twice and that Best Buy takes accountability seriously.
