    Did an early upgrade at this store back in September and had issues and was charged $500 on my next bill. Went to this location and it stared off great as I was provided information and was asked to call a 1-800 number while in the store. The Verizon 1-800 customer service needed to speak with somebody at the store and they reiterated that it’s common to speak with a personnel at the store. I reached out to Samuel, a manager at the store, and he declined to assist me or his Verizon counterpart in customer service. His words “I don’t talk to them”, then walked off. The whole time I was in the store he wasn’t really busy, just standing there. He then retreated to the back as I had the 1-800 call on speaker and they were apologizing for the behavior of the store. It took extra time on the phone, my issues is not fixed. I’m not happy with Verizon and the quality level of this manager. We all work and we’re all expected to do our job! Manager’s job is to help and fix issues not create anxiety and a hostile environment. I have seven phone lines, home internet and have been with them since 2019. Seriously, better training.

    We were assisted by an employee named Sofia at the Verizon corporate store yesterday 10/6/26 It’s important for staff to know when they don’t have the accurate information to answer a customer’s question. Instead of guessing, they should direct customers to someone who can help. Once Sofia realized we were not eligible for financing, she became unhelpful, gave pushback, and was rude. I asked about coverage for the monthly insurance I pay for and she gave incorrect information. After leaving the store, I contacted the insurance provider directly and received a completely different answer. When I asked how long she had been working at Verizon, she gave attitude and said she had been there a year. I requested her information so I could escalate the situation to her manager. My husband had a paid-off iPhone 15 Pro Max that was lost, so we temporarily used an iPhone XR we had at home since we couldn’t immediately pay the $280 insurance replacement. Sofia told us the replacement would be the XR and gave incorrect information about the 60-day claim window. When asked, she refused to confirm the policy or escalate to someone who could provide guidance. Upon leaving the store I called Asurion and learned the actual claim window was 80 days, and they even provided an extension to 90 days. Despite this, Asurion is now shipping the correct iPhone 15 Pro Max, but the way Sofia handled the situation was unacceptable. As loyal customers with three Verizon devices, this level of service was disappointing. Proper staff training is needed to ensure accurate information and professional assistance.
