I cannot say enough good things about the emergency care here. I had to call at 6am, got there around 620. They assisted me at the door and walked me through everything. I had to put my girl down that morning. Every single vet and assistant that helped me was compassionate and comforting. Even days later when I got a card signed by everyone.
My daughter is serving in Germany and they sent me paw prints to send to her.
Hands down, best care.

We were fortunate to meet such kind, compassionate staff on Thanksgiving day. I had called earlier & was reassured they would take care of our "kitty",
CleeBeez. It was a 3 hour drive from our place to VCA Animal Referral. CleeBeez enjoyed the trip including all the attention we gave her.
We were greeted by friendly staff members and escorted to a room.
The procedure Cleebeez's needed was explained thoroughly. The Veterinarian & technical staff were so caring & compassionate, understanding our loss. After our sweet CleeBeez was sent to Rainbow Bridge by the fuzzy Angels. Again, the staff took care of everything promptly ensuring our comfort & sharing our sadness.
I would suggest to anyone that needs that level of proficient, professional care for their pets, VCA Animal Referral would be their only choice.
Your kindness and care will never be forgotten.

Rachel is the absolute best! She took the time to hear out my concerns and offer me real solutions. I took my dog to another vet (not VCA) 3 days ago and we got bloodwork done (possible kidney issues after at home urinalysis) and due to a holiday the bloodwork results are delayed. But today the results came in and the vet was supposed to call me by the end of the day. I just called them before closing on a Friday and they have already closed and won’t open again until Monday. Rachel really helped put my mind at ease and told me when to bring my 14 year old Australia shepherd in for an emergency. Rachel definitely seems like one of the good ones!

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I had to put my dog down and was sent to this location. I called ahead to tell them to let me dog (who was in their care) meet with my husband ahead of my arrival. They had my husband sit in a waiting room for 25 minutes without bringing out my dog. When I got there I asked them where my dog was they said they were "busy." Seriously?! Why was my dog locked away from my husband for 25 mins in the last minutes of his life. Then, the process, which went OK, they told me that I would have a clay pawprint of my dog. I was sent to some alternative site where a clay paw print is NOT an option - meaning I've lost the pawprint that I have on all my other dogs over my lifetime b/c some "assistant" doesn't know what they do / do not offer. ABSOLUTELY INSANE. They changed the bill on us, last minute, while were were in distress. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. If you need euthanasia call: "Pets at Rest" - they were great with my other dogs and I will NEVER trust VCA again. EVER.

This ER was amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough. They were able to diagnose my dog’s life threatening illness quickly & gave me the plan of action needed to start treating it. Dr Heuss, thank you so much. Thank you to the nurse who sat on the floor with me & my dog & calmly talked me through the next steps while I was crying. And thank you to the receptionist who cried with me and helped me feel confident to trust my gut about the treatment plan I decided to go with. I wish i could remember your names, I was so frazzled, but I appreciate the whole team so much. Dana is doing so much better now and thanks to Dr Heuss, i know what needs to be done to manage her ITP short & long term. You guys literally saved my dog’s life and I cannot thank you enough.
