I’ve had my fair share of ER vet visits over the years, and this was definitely one of the best experience to date. Maddie, Charlotte, Nicole, Kelsey and Dr. Burns were all so gracious, sweet, knowledgable, and caring from the moment I picked up the phone to call about the emergency and up until we left. Taking my dog to any vet is already stressful as he doesn’t do the best, so I always warn the vets in advance out of precaution. My dog apparently loved the staff and did so well. Easing any type of stress in a high stress situation isn’t easy to do. I definitely recommend them and as I hope we don’t need another visit, I know we’ll be in the best care if need be. Thank you all! Your kindness goes such a long way and shouldn’t go unnoticed.

I took my dog to this emergency vet expecting prompt and compassionate care, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. We waited for almost three hours, and my dog was never seen. During that time, I overheard staff in the back talking about personal matters, like messaging their boyfriends, and even making some pretty unpleasant comments about my dog. I can’t speak to the quality of their medical care since my dog was never examined, but the lack of urgency and concern was really troubling. When your pet is in distress, you expect empathy and professionalism, and sadly, I didn’t see much of either here. We ultimately decided to leave and seek help elsewhere.

I can not express how grateful my family and I are and how much I appreciate the staffs effort, dedication, kindness when we arrived with our puppy who had Parvo, (we we're heartbroken and didn't know if he would make it), and also how kind they were when I called with questions, they reassured me that's what they are there for. Since then I am so happy to say that our Jimy has made a great recovery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us save our puppy.

On 10/18/25, my fiancé, father, and I rescued a dog found curled up in the center lane of the 60 expressway. She was clean, well-fed, gentle, and had clipped nails—clearly a cared-for pet. Eve Animal Hospital stabilized her for heat stroke and confirmed she was neurologically sound and improving. We were referred to VCA Animal Hospital and told she’d be stabilized then sent to the Humane Society “for a second chance.” Less than an hour later, we were told she’d been euthanized at the direction of Dr. Meagan Soehn, without warning or justification. As an ER doctor trained in trauma care, and in agreement with the first veterinarian’s assessment, it was evident this animal had no life-ending injuries. I reached out to VCA hospital and left messages for the manager and Dr. Soehn, neither of which were returned. This euthanasia was unethical, heartbreaking, and deceptive. Do not take your animals here.

I’ll keep leaving bad reviews as long as this place is open. An unsupervised intern killed my dog Benson at this facility many years ago, by forcing me to put him down and not allowing me to leave the hospital. She lied and said that wasn’t the case but oh yes it was! It was during Covid, and I was scrambling to find thousands to cover a sudden emergency that my dog had (IVDD). My family lived on the east coast, and with the time zone differences I didn’t have a chance to try to arrange anything before she told me “it was time”. I wanted to take him to his primary doctor because I didn’t trust her opinion, and she didn’t allow me to leave. I filed a complaint with the board, and she was found to have not provided appropriate care, among a couple other things but she still holds her license. You keep deleting my reviews, but I will keep exposing you for as long as I have breath in my body! Horrid facility!!
