I was misled by a salesperson who repeatedly assured me that the accessories I received were “free,” only to later discover I was charged $252.96 for two screen protectors, a phone case, and a wall charger—items that could be purchased elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. He claimed the $657.11 I paid in-store was only for taxes and insisted multiple times that I was not being charged for any accessories, which was not true. I was also placed into a $1,210 device payment agreement that I was told was a free phone upgrade. Additionally, I was told all activation fees were waived, which Verizon later confirmed was false. Setup fees were never disclosed, despite the salesperson later claiming they were “waived.” When I returned to the store to return the so-called free phones, iPad, Galaxy Tab, Apple Watch, and accessories, I was told no one could help me because the salesperson was off that day. Despite several employees being present, none would assist with returns or canceling lines. I waited over 30 minutes for a manager. I was told she was in a meeting, yet I saw her come out, look around, and return to her office without helping. I ultimately called Verizon corporate and was advised to leave the store, as they would assist me directly. This experience shows a serious lack of transparency, accountability, and customer service. Customers should not be misled or forced to make multiple trips to fix deceptive sales practices. I do not recommend this location.
