I came in trying to purchase two phones for my daughters before Christmas and spent 45 minutes to a hour in the store. The employee assigned to assist me repeatedly stated he could not access my account to complete carrier financing and only pushed for me to purchase the phones outright through Apple instead. No alternative solutions were offered, no troubleshooting, and no attempt to suggest another way to complete the purchase other than paying full retail price for the phones. After standing there for so long, I left the store empty-handed and extremely frustrated. Ironically, the very next morning (the day after Christmas), I ordered the same two phones directly from my phone (through Apple) and financed through my carrier with zero issues. The entire process took about 5 minutes to order, and 6 minutes to pick up. I will say—the employee who assisted me during pickup today was AMAZING: efficient, friendly, and helpful. That experience was night and day compared to my in-store visit. Unfortunately, the lack of assistance and problem-solving cost me valuable time and added unnecessary stress during the holidays. I expected much better service from Apple.
