Second time I was the only customer at the time so that guy was friendly and process went good for setting up new service.

Great customer service from Garret. Update: So around 3 hours after leaving the store, Cricket blocked the line for the new phone for unknown reasons. Back to the Cricket Store and Garret assisted again. He could not get a response from customer care for 15 minutes and he took my number (other phone) and said he would continue to work on the problem. 45 minutes later I got a call and Garret had fixed the problem. Great customer service from the customer advocate Garret, but frustrating dealing with Cricket.
