My kitten had mites so i came in here and i dont recommend it. Aside from Betto the technician looking me in my face and tells me to surrender my animal due to me venting about getting laid off and not being able to afford a $500 treatment in this economy. Completely rude and unprofessional. giving me attitude for absolutely no reason! $150 for the doc to come in, another $150 just to LOOK at the ear and then another whatever for treatment. Aside from the horrible customer service this place is a JOKE.

The staff and facility itself is very nice! We joined the online waitlist which was super easy and quick! Dr. Nguyen was professional and kind with our dog. The team was able to get him fixed up and out of the door very quickly! Thank you very much!

Overall not the best experience but could’ve been worse. Most importantly, you guys NEED to fix your waitlist page. Girl at the front desk sat there for way too many seconds with a confused face looking at her laptop not able to find our appointment. I understand that it was my mistake to not tap on the 2nd link received via text, but to sit there and not verbalize for so long that you don’t see my name when I’m standing there crying for my pet made everything worse. I’d rather hear that I’m not on the list than to watch you sit there looking confused for a minute straight. When asked for other emergency vet recommendations she mentioned one as if she were asking a question. Was very unsure. My much more direct sister said “fine we’ll do our own research” and then I was notified that I was removed from the waiting list. Which means we were on it at some point?!?! We then waited over an hour in the parking lot because the staff had to take their hour lunch. All of them? at once? Once finally checked in, waited at least another 30 minutes in a room and visited by 2 staff before my pet was actually seen by the doctor. Was there for over 3 hours and interacted with the dr for maybe 5 minutes. Came in for a potential broken leg and they added an ear examination to the price estimate before giving her the $450 xray. To speak of what was on the xray was another few hundred. Left $800 dollars later to hear that it’s a sprain and to give her massages. But to give the dr credit, she did her job well and we also received pain medication so I guess there’s that. Will not be back.

I brought my kitten to VCA on a Saturday with my concerns. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Wong was very attentive to my cat and her symptoms. He helped her as much as he could, but unfortunately, we had to go to an ER. Dr. Wong followed up with me the day after he treated my cat and answered every question I had. He is still following up with us regarding test results and questions. I am really glad we had a Dr like him. He seems to really care about his patients. Thank you VCA team!
