    The employee that helped me didn’t seem very stoked to be there. That’s fine I get it, it’s holiday season I’m sure things are crazy. But a couple of things. 1. After he got the screen protector on he put the new phone back in its box, just handed it to me and told me to have a good day. I asked him if he was gonna help me transfer my data/info from my old phone to the new one and he said I should do it at home cause their WiFi was slow. It wasn’t till the drive home I realized I had two phones and neither of them worked/were connected to the network, I was just in no mans land until I could get home and transfer everything. Keep in mind there was a customer beside me in the store being helped by another employee to transfer their stuff, but I didn’t wanna push it. 2. Dude didn’t give me a receipt for the 1300 dollar phone I had to ask for it. He told me he was sure he gave me one, printed another, and said “here’s your extra receipt.” 3. I JUST realized when he took my phone to put the screen protector on he didn’t come back with the box so now I can’t register the warranty which was the last straw and what lead to this review. Any one of these things isolated I would have let go, but all of them together made for a mediocre and frustrating experience. Thanks Wesley.

    UPDATE BELOW: please read and beware. 🚩🚩🚩🚩 Made a substantial purchase today with my husband and upon check out we were offered the reward program. Employee stated that it has cash back options and I asked “does it cost a fee to be in the program” he replied “no, it’s free” & BULL CRAP. Got to our car and looked it up to an annual subscription!!! We both became suspicious when he asked for my social security number but we complied and signed up for the suppose free program. When we called to cancel the lady on the phone said it’s a “sales tactic” when it’s blatantly “LIEING” to get sales. Garbage sales tactic to scam people out of hard earned money. If it’s a subscription then SAY IT. UPDATE: as of December 9th. On Weds November 26th about 2pm - 2:23pm I walked into best-buy in Conway Arkansas with my Husband. We ended up purchasing 2, 45 inch curved OLED gaming monitors well over $2,000. Upon checking out, we were asked if we wanted to apply for the Best Buy program. At first we said no then the cashier said that you can get cash back on it because it accumulates through points and we were spending a lot. I asked point blank if the card cost money like an annual fee to have. And the young guy checking us out said no it cost nothing to have this card. Which was very odd because he asked for my social and my name and my number and other confidential information. - Red flag number 1 🚩 So we purchased the insurance on the monitors and left feeling good knowing we got cash back on a suppose free program. We pulled up to get our monitors and they loaded em. The same guy who checked us out I asked again “this is not a credit card right? Because we don’t want our credit messed up because of this” & he stuttered acting shocked I asked again and shoved off the question like I was paranoid. - Red flag 2 🚩 We got in the car and pulled off and felt something was wrong with the situation & pulled out the receipt. And right there was a “member” charge. $190 something a year. Called right away to try and cancel and come to find out the man checking us out intertwined my personal information with my husband’s so it took us FOREVER to even cancel. The lady on the phone said it’s a tactic the sales people use when it’s clearing “lying to customers” and it is fraud. On NOV 29th we got a “Best Buy Credit card” application that was declined when we never signed up knowingly!!! When we purchased our screens we were signed up! That is point blank credit card fraud. That employee signed us up for a CREDIT CARD without us knowing. To make it worse, he used my husband’s name with my Social Security number. Thank God the credit card company declined us because of the incorrect information that the employee gave. Extremely disappointed and now bestbuy won’t let me escalate because the kid who signed us up put the account under my husbands name with all my personal information so nothing matches for them to do anything. 👍🏼 Horrible experience and will never purchase from this company again.
