He’s not quite ready to go on our plan so we decided to go prepaid for him until he’s a little older. We had gone to DG in Leeds and happened to see their sign for a free iPhone 13 with new service. Anyways. We went yesterday. They told us they didn’t have the iPhone 13 - but showed us a few androids with the same deal. We picked out a phone (free with the purchase of a monthly plan + activation fees). We sat there for nearly an hour while they tried setting everything up. They asked us to leave and come back because their system was down. Nbd, we had other shopping to do. Then they called me and said everything was done and we could come back. We come back, sit there for another hour, and are then told it’s still down and asked us to come back today. I didn’t want to because I was already annoyed but my husband said we’d give them another chance. We go back today. Sit there for ANOTHER hour… then they tell us it’s DOUBLE the price we were told it was because their promotion ended yesterday and we would have to pay for the phone🙃 Needless to say we walked out pissed. That place will NOT last long with that kind of service. But just a warning so no one else wastes their time there.
