Wanted to buy a 50"tv for our sunroom. I can't say that the salesperson was any help. The only way to describe him is short, thin, dark hair & bites his nails. He was quite rude. IF YOU ARE BUYING A TV DON'T GO TO BB ON HWY280 IN BROOK HIGHLAND PLAZA. Never in all my years of buying from this store have I/we been treated like that. Very curtly we were told that tv just doesn't come in that size. We had to ask him to just show us any tv in a 50 or 55 inch. It was like pulling teeth as my dad would say. I have to add he was the only one around, the others were standing chatting. Will never go back, he/they lost a sale because we went to the Lorna Rd store and spent more than we might have spent there. Jonathan A was our associate. He introduced himself & asked our names. Bend over backwards to help us. Explained everything, answered all our questions. Very knowledgeable. Best salesperson ever. BB needs to clone him. I even told some other customer to wait and let him help you...AND they did so he got 2 sales.

The customer service that I received at this location tonight was atrocious. My husband had to buy a new phone ASAP because his broke. Best Buy had them on sell, which was very helpful because we all know how sometimes every penny counts. However, some of the employees made it very obvious that they did want to be there, and didn't want to do their job. I was so upset when we left. The guy at the Geek Squad counter was a jerk and I am being nice by using that word. He was very rude and very unprofessional. He refused to help us activate my husband's phone because he quote said we had to have an appointment. He said it would take roughly 30 - 45 minutes. I asked him what time did they close, he said 8. At that time, it was around 6:20. I most definitely would have been more understanding had he been doing something or was busy when we walked up, but he wasn't. He made it painfully obvious that he just didn't want to deal with it. He did however put a screen protector on my husband's phone for $8.00. He even went as far as refusing to give us the box back for the phone that we had just purchased because he said it was just an empty box. Are you kidding me? What type of customer service is that? We wanted the box back for a reason. Best Buy just got their last dollar from us. Had we not needed an affordable phone ASAP, they would not have gotten it tonight. We are definitely going to start looking at other avenues for our phone purchases in the future. The phones are too expensive at mobile phone stores. If upper management or even corporate wants to talk, let me know who to call. Your location is sinking and it's sinking quick because of poor customer service. Which is sad because I used to love coming to y'all.

I went into the store on 2/9/26 @ 7:12. I went to buy a MacBook. I knew exactly what I was looking for. Jacob, was very nice and was helping me, but he seemed to be the only one working while everyone else was just walking by. Another gentleman walked up and Jacob helped him, but they took over 40 mins. I was just standing there. This was a purchase that I really needed to make so that I could do my job. By the time I got to the front to check out, they scanned the laptop and it was a different price from what they originally told me. When I asked them about it they were very hesitant to check. I didn’t realize the store was about to close until the lights went out on me. (While I was still in line trying to get the right price.) so Jacob finally comes over and I’m like hey, this is not the price you gave me. It took him a while to look it up on the computer so I said “don’t worry about it. I will come back later.) he didn’t hesitate at all. All he said was “ok sorry about that” I mean, sheesh after making me wait so long the situation should have been rectified, but oh well. I will not be returning back to that specific store. Customer service is awful

Purchased a tv and the sales associate seemed very knowledgeable but I was charged for a “teen tech” donation that I did not willingly donate to. I didn’t even realize until I checked my receipt. Not cool… very untrustworthy!

It’s a shame that in 2026 with everything going on in the world people of color are still forced to deal with racism and prejudice! This is the 3rd bad experience that we’ve had within a 1-2 month span and now it’s clear that management have no intentions of correcting this behavior and holding their employees accountable for things like this. To give some context of the latest issue my wife and I show up to Best Buy to purchase items about an hour before they open, there were only 2 people ahead of us so we were 3rd and 4th in line. Once the store opens for some reason only the first 2 people were able to get the product and they told my wife and I they were sold out(after 2 people). So as if that wasn’t bad enough what happened next took me out, I’m at the counter looking at other product and I ask to see something that I wasn’t familiar with so that I can get a better look at the product. The guy would not even hand me the product, but instead he’s trying to read the info to me and I’m telling him that I asked to see it not have him read info to me and the stuff he’s reading isn’t even what I need to know. I then say you act as if I’m gonna run out of the store with it and he just stood there looking with the Wildest facial expression. Mind you this item only cost $39.99 and I was just in this same store a month prior and spent over $800 cash buying a new phone as a gift for my wife and prior to that I can’t even count the amount I’ve spent with this company. So to be treated like that was a slap in the face, but it’s like that with every single person I’ve encountered at this location. Not one person has been kind or courteous to me or my wife and I know 1000% it’s because of the color of our skin! 2 white guys were in the line ahead of me and the cashiers are showing all teeth laughing and greeting them, thanking them and telling them to have a nice day. The moment we walk up and all that fades, I say “ good morning, how are you?” And nothing….Just looking at me with a blank expression as if I didn’t say anything. Then my wife purchases an item and you just sit it on top of the counter with the receipt? She still politely asked for a bag and the other guy started huffing and puffing! But you were just stepping and fetching with a smile for the 2 white guys in front of us, and the moment were done the next 2 guys that walk up to the registers are also white so guess what?? The smiles and laughter and joy is back! Even one of the managers is bias on stuff because about a month ago we were waiting in line for something and the worker knew one of the white guys at the front of the line and he came out and told them exactly how many they had and it was exactly enough for everyone out there, they even opened the store 30 min early for they’re “friends “. Everyone got they’re product and I was the last person in line and they should have had 1 box left, but when I got to the counter they wouldn’t sell it to me. I said they employee said they had this amount a few minutes ago and everyone got one except me, but he didn’t care just looked at me and said “we got what we got” and walked off! One thing about treating people like this is it always catches up to you! My family and friends will take our business where it’s appreciated! ****UPDATE 02-03-2026**** So they left a comment on my review putting up a front as if they are so concerned about what my wife and I have been through, but once I reached out privately I never actually spoke to anyone, only received a generic response saying something to the effect of “ thank you for leaving feedback, we take these matters serious and will look into it”. In other words they said a bunch of nothing and nothing will be done about your situation, which doesn’t surprise because every single person at that store gave that kind of energy that you give when your not worried about consequences! As if you feel as though your above being held accountable, but this isn’t back the day! We won’t spend money where we’re not appreciated!
