I really recommend this place, I was frantically searching for a vet to take my pixie frog too as he’s not feeling well, VCA was the only place in this area that’s willing to work on frogs! The vet showed genuine concern for my little guy and treated him with the exact care I was looking for. I’m so grateful for the employees here and help from the vet!!!

While recently vacationing in the area, my Malshi, Oscar, got a deeply embedded sand spur in his paw which we were unable to get out. I easily made an appointment online with VCA late the night before. Once I arrived, we were met with kindness and professionalism and promptly seen. Upon examination, it was revealed that the sand spur was gone (Oscar must've gotten it out on his own during the night) but for good measure, the tech thoroughly examined all his paws. Upon checkout, I was told, that despite taking up their time, I owed them nothing. The staff here clearly love animals and I would not hesitate to recommend them. If I lived in the area, I would definitely use them.

We recently moved to the area and were in need of a new vet for our small Boston Terrier. We have visited VCA a handful of times and have had the pleasure of having Shelby as our vet technician. In the few encounters she has managed to build rapport not only with me, but my dog. She is gentle and friendly while managing to do uncomfortable procedures such as anal gland expression, nail trims, and assisting in medical exams. She has mentioned that my dog is extremely well behaved and handles uncomfortable procedures well. However, today my experience was less than subpar. Shelby began the visit with us and continued to exceed expectations, the second vet technician I encountered did not. She was unnecessarily rough when lifting his head for the vet to check a previous rash on his neck. (My dog is 17.5 pounds, meaning little effort is needed to position him.) Once the exam was over she continued to hold a firm grip on his head and neck and even had very harsh tones saying “stop.” At this point, my dog was shockingly still as we were both confused as to why she continued to hold him this way and speak to him like this. The exam was over. Shortly after this, my dog locked up and froze in place and lean as if he was trying to faint. The vets term was “shut down.” My dog is usually filled with excitement when at the vet and has never frozen with fear or anxiety. I have never seen my dog afraid in the vet office and want to leave someone so quickly. Once the technician released him he quickly came to me and displayed an odd demeanor. In the moment, I was more concerned for his overall wellbeing and truly hate confrontation, but the more I thought about this - I became more upset. If a veterinary technician will treat an animal like this in front of the owner, what is happening when we are not around? I have not had to board my pet before, but I felt the need to share this concern with owners that might consider this place in the future. I left today feeling uneasy and afraid for pets in their care.
