  DO NOT USE THE INTERNET OR APP TO TRANSFER YOUR OLD PHONE NUMBER AND OLD PHONE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TRANSFER PIN AND ACCOUNT NUMBER IN HAND AND READY, IT WILL STILL CHARGE YOU AND GO AHEAD AND GIVE YOU A NEW PHONE NUMBER WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION!!!! I was going to add my daughter to my plan early this morning, but we didn’t have her transfer pin. So I exited out and decided to do it when she went to T-Mobile at 10 am when they opened so we would have all the information needed. So I started the process but didn’t finish it. I log back in later that day because we figured out she couldn’t move from T-Mobile yet because of a contract. They had already charged me and just gave me a new number for the added line instead of transferring the old number. So I called customer service thinking they could help me get my money back and cancel that line created from an unfinished application. I just kept getting told that I had created an account, and he wouldn’t understand that I never even got to finish the process and refused to give me my money back and just continued telling me how wrong I was. He finally did cancel the line after I told him I guess I’ll just go to T-Mobile with my daughter. What’s bad is I had to threaten to leave their company before he even straightened out the accidentally added line, but still no refund when it’s just a glitch in their online experience. That’s not right to take $20 from somebody because your steps are way out of order. You should be asked for your number transfer pin and account number prior to the debit card information and not after it. I had no idea I would need that information until after I accidentally paid. So thank you cricket for taking food out of my kids mouths because you can’t correctly setup the ‘add a line’ option.

  Cricket Wireless of Fort Payne by far has the nicest, most helpful employees. Mitchell, the employee who assisted me, was the BEST associate to work with. He provided fast, quality service and was an absolute joy to be around. I highly recommend asking for him if you ever find yourself at the Cricket store of Fort Payne.
