    If you are at Verizon - Cox Creek in Florence , you need to see AUSTIN!!!! Hands down - he is the BEST Verizon Rep I have ever dealt with and we have been with Verizon for 13 years !! Thank you Austin for all of your help !!

    Verizon has the worst customer service! My elderly mother was locked out of her account & her phone wasn't working. I called the Florence, Alabama store number listed & was immediately rerouted to the main customer service line for Verizon. After holding for approx 30 min, I was connected to a call center in another country. There was a language barrier & a lack of understanding of the issue by the agent. He said the only option I had for unlocking the account would be to visit a Verizon Company Store (which is a 30 min drive). At the Florence store, we were informed they have no ability to unlock my mother's account. They would not allow us access to the account even though my mother was present. We requested the email address on the account be updated. Later, we received an email showing the email address was changed. The preferred language was also changed to Spanish. Now are still locked out & when we call customer service, the language is Spanish. Did the Florence employee change the preferred language? I don't know, but prior to visiting the Florence store, the customer service calls were in English. Additionally, my mother's account is on auto-pay. We are switching to another carrier & cannot stop her service or auto-pay because we can't contact customer service. To end service & stop autopay, we are forced to stop the payment through the bank.

    The Verizon store in Florence is a fantastic store to do business. I went with my mom to get her a new iPhone. The guy who waited on us was Austin. He was very patient and very knowledgeable about everything. There was no waiting time. I definitely recommend anyone needing Verizon assistance or buying new phones.

    My account is showing a phone line that’s been on my bill for 17 months. With no usage. The Florence store did this about two years ago and I didn’t find out about it until adding a new line for my grandson. They do not tell you in honest ways how they maneuver to get more money from hard working people and took advantage of a senior citizen. The cloverdale store didn’t bother to tell me it would be on my bill. This is wrong. Also, when I purchased the phone I’m using now…an Apple Watch was offered for free. I found out I’ve been charged for this along with monthly data charges. Where’s the accountability. I’ve been told by a Verizon associate in another store that’s not corporate…that the manager in corporate store finds ways to increase your bill while telling you it’s free. My bill never was correct from what they told me it would be. Today 8/27. An associate couldn’t get a manager to help. She asked me to leave the store because she didn’t want to argue. Argue? I wanted to resolve the issues. But she couldn’t help me. On my app it says on my phone 100% paid off. She said the phone isn’t paid off but my line is…..What does this mean? That’s when she got mad and asked me to leave. This store has really bad reviews in lots of ways. Take heed. On 8/28. We transferred to T Mobile. They found on my phone where two lines were being charged. Monthly. For two years. The associate at T Mobile said they just found a way to make extra money. He used to work Verizon.
