Came in to take advantage of Verizon paying off our old devices to upgrade to bring our bill down. Our rep tried her best. We had 3 lines and she suggested adding a 4th for free, adding it as a secondary to one of the new phones. Sure. Our phone protection got changed from the $8 option to Verizon’s $20 option, which apparently wasn’t an option to opt out of in-store. What could have been done online without the headache and had the phones in an hour ending up taking almost 5 hours in-store. When it came to pay, Verizon’s system stopped working and the rep had to start from scratch and when my new estimated bill came up after her redoing it, it was over $100 more per month ($395 ish to about $515). I was assured it would be fixed by the time my bill came, that it was a fluke on their end.. My new bill has 2 secondary lines. 3 devices, 5 numbers.. I only agreed to 1 secondary.. so I called Verizon instead of wasting a day in the store again. Got my coverages swapped back and both of the new lines removed and my bill went down $120. As long as I’m able to, I will never step back into the store expect to pick up a new device and will only do account changes online. I understand they make commission but after this experience, I’m hoping they don’t get credit for the additional lines or phone insurance since it was canceled before my bill was due. To the credit of the employees. Yes. You did tell me to come back in if my bill was wrong. I’m unable to since I’m out of state, and I’m not putting my wife through that horrible wait.

I went to two different locations and talked to at least 5 people and Alex in Hartaelle was able to solve my problem. She called around to make sure she was able to fix my issue. She didn't just tell me no. Her and Michelle were extremely helpful and explain everything to me as she went. I will never go back to the corporate store. This location was far more helpful. Thank you! I highly recommend Verizon in Hartselle.
