Very disappointing experience.
I went in to purchase an iPhone with a return option plan and clearly stated that I wanted to stay with Bell. Due to poor communication, I was told a Freedom number could be used temporarily and switched back to Bell after returning my old phone.
When I returned the next day to complete the switch, a different salesperson was extremely rude and condescending. When I tried to ask clarifying questions, he shut me down and spoke to me in an unprofessional and dismissive tone. Instead of helping resolve the confusion, he became aggressive and insisted the plan was always meant to be with Freedom.
Miscommunication can happen, but disrespectful behavior toward a customer is unacceptable. I expected much better service from Best Buy and hope management

This happened a few days ago (around 5 days ago), and I’m STILL angry about it. I came to pick up my AirPods Max at Best Buy Mobile in Sunridge Mall, and the experience was honestly humiliating.
The employee asked for ID. I didn’t have the physical card, but I had a photo of my valid Canadian passport, and he said that was fine. The second I showed him, he snatched my phone out of my hand and started laughing hysterically like I was some kind of joke. He kept saying, “That’s not you, that’s too young,” and then had the nerve to tell me, “Next time you need an actual Canadian passport.” I literally told him it IS a Canadian passport. What does he think I showed him?
He continued laughing in my face, completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and totally out of line. I walked out feeling embarrassed, angry, and honestly shocked that anyone working in customer service behaves like that.
I will never return to this location. And honestly, I hope this place shuts down — this isn’t even the only bad review they’ve gotten this week. Clearly the problem is the staff.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences with an employee named HASSAN ever at Best Buy Mobile in Sunridge Mall (the location downstairs near Freedom). We came in after being offered a good deal and were ready to buy three phones. The associate helping us asked her colleague, Hassan, for assistance. Instead of helping her, he told her to go pick up and throw out garbagewhile he took over with us, which was extremely rude and uncomfortable to witness.
After completing the entire process, Hassan suddenly told us that we couldn’t get the deal—without giving us any explanation. He also refused to provide proof of the credit check, even though our credit was already hit during the process. We left with nothing despite our credit being affected.
When we mentioned that another store had offered us a better deal, he disrespected us and questioned why we were even there. When we asked about the unnecessary credit hit, he simply said he couldn’t do anything and told us to “do whatever we can.”
Overall, the experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and extremely disappointing. This location seriously needs better training and accountability.
