    I purchased a new iPhone from the cell department in September 2025. I was informed by the sales rep that Best Buy stores are unable to exclude any service fees and then instructed to go through my service provider. However, since then, my service provider has confirmed that any service fee must be handled by the store since it was purchased there. The sales rep gave wrong information and pressured me to complete the contract, hence the once star review. I also requested a call back from the store manager but have not received any call back.

    Geek Squad workers were excellent, it's the business overall that's the problem. Geek Squad called me and I need to call them back but there's not directline to get to them. I tried 3 different numbers talking to bots and the only line required me to give them the case number which is on the slip for the repair they gave me. Yeah, but not everyone is going to carry that paper when they're out. It took me AN HOUR to reach someone who can help me but they were a 1-800 line from elsewhere and needed a ton of info. The budget saving idea is causing a major headache for customer service and I'm considering cancellation my membership cuz this is just awful. Why would I sign up for a company that makes it hard to reach a department I need to have a simple question answered? I hope they can re-evaluate the worth. The online chat gave me a number I already tried and doesn't let me connect. Another worker gave me their direct line (finally) but no one picked up). ALL I NEEDED WAS TO TELL THEM TO GO AHEAD AND REINSTALL A NEW DRIVER FOR ME. At 1.5h of trying, I still haven't been able to get this message across to them. Absolute headache!
