Chris at the Apple Store in Market Mall was absolutely fantastic. He spent so much time helping me and my mom explore the Apple Vision Pro, and he did it with so much patience and kindness. My mom doesn’t speak English very well, but he explained everything in such a clear and thoughtful way that she understood it all and genuinely enjoyed the whole experience.

This Genius Bar expert truly deserves a full five-star review! His skill and insight are exceptional. I had no idea that dust in the charging port was causing the issue, but the Genius Bar expert identified it instantly. After his careful cleaning, my device started charging perfectly again. It’s rare to meet a Genius Bar expert with such outstanding professionalism and precision. I’m genuinely grateful for his help!

Horrible Experience at Apple Market Mall - Do Better!
My mom bought the new iPhone 17 Pro at the Market Mall Apple Store and had a terrible experience. She’s older and not great with technology, so she relied on Apple to help her set everything up. It took three different employees to help her one went on lunch, another left, and then the manager had to step in (AND NONE OF THEM TOUCHED OR ASKED ABOUT HER SIM CARD!). They helped transfer her apps/iCloud and told her she was good to leave.
But they completely forgot to transfer her SIM card to an eSIM! That’s literally the first thing they should have done when upgrading a phone. My mom traded in her old iPhone, and they took it with her SIM card still inside. Unreal.
She got home and realized she couldn’t call or text anyone. We called Apple Support, and they said the phone hadn’t been mailed yet and to just go back to Market Mall to get it. Simple, right?
Wrong. She went back TWO HOURS later, and they refused to give her phone back because her ID had expired two days ago — it was her birthday! She had just turned 68. She went out of her way to renew it that same day and brought in the temporary paper version, but they still refused to accept it. She even asked them to check their cameras to see she was there earlier trading in her phone and being helped by three different people. They still said no.
Instead, they told her to go to Rogers to fix it herself. That’s so disappointing. She spent almost $1,700 on that phone, and the least they could do was finish the job properly and show some basic kindness and common sense.
In the end, I had to help her myself, and Rogers fixed everything in minutes by giving us a new QR code for the eSIM. Apple should have done that from the start.
Apple Market Mall, do better. Train your staff, communicate properly, and have some empathy for seniors trying their best. This whole thing was ridiculous and stressful for no reason.

I mean it's cool to look around, but the staff here always act overly righteous and snobby. Like your jobs not that significant you're selling a device made from slave labour in Asia, that expires in 3-5 years because of unethical updates. Just chill. Samsung is a much better device anyways, much more customizable. After Steve Jobs passed away Apple has really mostly been a gimmick brand.

We came to the Apple Store yesterday — they told us to wait for an hour. Fine, we didn’t want to waste time, so we politely asked to book an appointment for the next day. We thought, “Great, tomorrow will be smooth — we’re scheduled!”
Today we show up on time, like a Swiss watch, and guess what? WE’RE WAITING AGAIN! 😡
So what’s the point of making an appointment if we’re met with the same line and the same “please wait”?
Apple, you’re supposed to be the company of the future, not a lineup from a Soviet pharmacy!
Maybe it’s time to replace the apple logo with a snail — slow, but at least honest. 🐌
People plan their day, they come on schedule, and you just waste their time with zero organization and zero respect.
Shiny walls, empty promises — that’s all we got today.
⭐ Rating: 1 out of 5.
And that’s only because Apple doesn’t allow negative numbers.
