Overall happy with the products I've purchased here. Employees are generally knowledgeable. However, service gets overwhelming, being approached from the very moment I set foot in the store by multiple employees (and sometimes, the same few employees) continuously asking if I need help. This quickly becomes annoying. If I need help, I'll ask for it! No need to follow me around the store. Letting customers freely browse on their own without being approached every few seconds would help improve the customer experience.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this location. The employee assisting us claimed the AirPods Max we were buying was the newer “AirPods Max 2” and described it using features of the new version, which led us to make the purchase. After getting home, we realized it was actually the older model. What was even more frustrating was how the situation was handled when we returned. The manager showed little concern, didn’t take the issue seriously, and made no real effort to acknowledge or resolve the mistake. That lack of accountability made the whole experience worse. Expected much better honesty and customer service.

Really frustrating experience at this Best Buy location. We went in to check out the AirPods Max and the employee helping us clearly told us that it was the “AirPods Max 2” and explained it as if it was the newly released version. We specifically asked more than once if this was the latest model that just came out, and he confidently said yes. He also mentioned that the new version comes in multiple colors but only one was available in-store, which is what we ended up buying. After getting home, we checked the box and quickly realized it was actually the older generation. That was a huge letdown, especially after being reassured multiple times in-store. We went back to talk to the manager, expecting at least some acknowledgment of the mistake, but honestly, it felt like they didn’t care at all. No proper response, no effort to address the situation. Very disappointing overall. Giving incorrect information and then not taking responsibility is not something you expect from a place like Best Buy.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Best Buy location. We visited the store specifically to try the AirPods Max, and the staff member assisting us confidently told us that the product was the “AirPods Max 2” (the newer version). He went on to explain specifications and features as if it were the latest release. We even double-checked and asked if it was the recently released model, and he reassured us that it was. We also asked about color options, and he told us the new version comes in multiple colors but only one was currently in stock — which we ended up purchasing. However, after getting home and checking the box, we realized it was actually the older generation AirPods Max. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially considering how confidently incorrect the information provided was. When we returned to the store and spoke with a manager, there was little to no effort made to address the issue or even acknowledge the mistake. No proper explanation, no accountability — just a lack of concern. It’s honestly shocking that employees at a major retailer like Best Buy would provide incorrect information about such a premium product, and even more disappointing that management showed no interest in resolving the situation. I expected much better in terms of product knowledge and customer service. This experience has definitely affected my trust in this location.

"The item was displayed for sale with no date restrictions, but management refused to honor the price. This is a case of false advertising, and I have video evidence of the display." ..Part 2.-.Thank you for the reply, but I have already contacted your customer service and management team several times, and your position remains the same: you refuse to honor the advertised price for a product that was clearly on display and available in multiple units. Your in-store management stated the item could not be sold until April 9th due to a release date error, but regardless of internal errors, you failed to honor the visible price. Telling me to 'reach out' again when I have already done so without any resolution is disappointing. This matter has now been escalated to Service Alberta and the Alberta Ombudsman as a formal consumer protection complaint. The conduct of the General Manager and the Assistant Manager was completely inappropriate and unprofessional, demonstrating a lack of respect for the customer and the store's stated policies.
