I wanted to be sure that my comments were fair and objective… Hence the wait. Working with this company was a disappointment, but it didn’t need to be. Although the moving crew was enthusiastic and likeable, it’s clear that their management is not customer-focused. I will share one example to illustrate my point. The (local) move included disassembly and reassembly of beds that were being moved. Three related issues occurred that highlight my problem with this company. 1. The crew was careless in disassembling the beds and did not have a system to keep track of the hardware. Not surprisingly, they lost hardware required to reassemble the beds. This was entirely avoidable and seemingly reflects a lack of training. 2. When the crew realised they had lost key components of the hardware they reassembled the bed anyway but did not disclose the issue, leaving the house and a bed that literally fell apart in my hands when I went to inspect it. Issues and problems will occur, but when they do, I expect full transparency and an admission of what happened. Something like “we’re very sorry this happened, but don’t worry, we’ll make it right”. Instead, they failed to disclose the issue and (apparently) hoped that I wouldn’t notice. 3. When I followed up with the company to explain what it happened what I expected to hear was … “thank you for letting us know. This is completely unacceptable and we will follow up with our crew to make sure this never happens again, meanwhile what can we do to make this right?” Instead, I was told that the parts could probably be replaced and sent a link on Amazon to find them. The actions of the crew were seemingly defended and I was left frustrated and holding the bag. I had numerous follow-up phone calls and emails with this company, and in the end I could only conclude that… This company was more eager to defend the actions of its crew that it was to admit their mistake and learn from it in a way that would allow them to improve and spare others from a similar frustration. I am a reasonable guy and generally hard to frustrate (look at my other reviews). It takes a lot to upset me, but these people did it… beware.
