  Today we spent a full day fly fishing with Tim Smith from Grand Teton Fly Fishing, and it was truly a lifetime memory that we will carry with us forever. My husband has a lot of experience with spinning reel fishing, but fly fishing was completely new to both of us. From the moment we met Tim, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and excited to learn. He started the day with an excellent lesson on casting, mending, setting the hook, and the fundamentals of both nymphing and dry fly fishing. His knowledge was incredible, and he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. As a beginner, I was initially intimidated, but Tim was endlessly patient, encouraging, and supportive. Whenever our lines got tangled or we found ourselves caught on something, he was right there to help with a smile and never made us feel rushed or frustrated. His calm demeanor and genuine passion for teaching made all the difference. By the end of the day, both my husband and I had caught 4–6 fish each! We caught whitefish, cutthroat trout, and chub, and had an absolute blast doing it. There were moments of excitement, moments of learning, and plenty of belly laughs along the way. We left feeling accomplished, relaxed, and incredibly grateful for the experience. Tim is not only a fantastic guide but also a genuinely kind and heartwarming person. If you’re considering a fly fishing trip in Jackson Hole, we cannot recommend Grand Teton Fly Fishing and Tim Smith highly enough. This was one of the highlights of our Wyoming trip and an experience we’ll never forget. Thank you, Tim, for such an unforgettable day! 🎣🏔️❤️

  Just finished an awesome day on the water with GTFF. My wife and I had a blast. We were guided by Tim Smith. He's an awesome dude who genuinely cares that you have a good time. I was impressed that he and the other guide for our group altered our original plans based on conditions to give us the best opportunity to catch fish...and we sure did!!

  Had a half day with our guide Sawyer. Extremely knowledgeable and works very hard to make sure you have a good time out there! Was able to go from 0 experience to ripping lips in no time. Highly recommend.

  We had an incredible day on the Snake River with our amazing guide, Walt Moore! Walt’s knowledge of the river and his patience with us made the entire experience unforgettable. 🎣 He helped put us on several beautiful cutthroat trout along with one mountain whitefish, and every moment on the water was a blast. Between the incredible fishing, breathtaking scenery, and all the memories made throughout the day, this is a trip we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for an outstanding guide experience on the Snake River, we highly recommend Walt Moore! 🏔️🐟
