  They were so helpful and easy to work with. We had a challenging hot tub installation and it was amazing to watch them maneuver the hot tub under trees and through two gates. They took their time and cared about my concerns. Very professional. Would happily use again.

  Couldn't recommend Action Moving Colchester more highly. Derek came personally to our home to give us a quote and made us feel reassured. Their pricing was very fair compared to other companies. The guys who moved us - JIMMY, JEREMY and BRUCE couldn't have been nicer. They knew exactly what to do and boy were they FAST workers. They took great care with all our stuff making sure it wasn't damaged. They protected stairwells with blankets and were careful not to ding any walls. Excellent communication amongst the team made everything go smoothly. What courteous and professional guys. Thanks so much!

  We had used Action Moving in 2018 to move the contents of our house to a new home 30 miles away. We had a positive experience, so in the fall of 2025 we decided to use them again to move the contents of our house to a new home. This time we required that they store our contents for 4 months until our new home was finished. Frustratingly the quality of their workmanship has significantly dropped since our first engagement. During the course of moving and storage and the subsequent moving out of storage we had 3 pieces of furniture that had one or more legs broken off and could not be repaired. Our flat screen TV was damaged and did not function when it arrived. We received two pieces of furniture that were not ours and we had to arrange pick up and return to storage. We also had a cabinet lost during the four months of storage. Although the legs of the cabinet were delivered, the body of the cabinet was not (huh?) I suspect that it likely was mis-delivered to another customer who unfortunately did not send it back to Action Storage. Action Moving indicates it will continue to look for the cabinet, but I believe that is lip service. They did give us a small credit but nowhere near enough to replace the 55" TV. Although Jimmy and Chris did a great job orchestrating the move, behind the scenes the attention to detail and respect for their customer's belongings is terrible. I caution anyone considering using Action Moving to search for an alternative.

  5 star service from start to finish!! I hired Action Moving to clear out one apartment and keep my items overnight before moving into a new space. Jeremy, Chris, and Jimmy did a great job on both days. They were punctual, friendly, professional, and they made the move very easy. There was clear communication from the main office and the price was reasonable. I will definitely hires these folks again for my next move.

  Action Moving sent 3 guys to deliver our new hot tub on Monday, Jan 26, 2026 during one of the biggest snowstorms of the season. They did a remarkable job removing the old tub and placing the new tub during adverse weather conditions. They were friendly, courteous and very professional. Thank you for your great service!
