The Ringneck & Western Railroad (RWRR) is one of many short line railroads that make up Watco’s rail network across North America. The RWRR, like other short line railroads, provides essential first- and last-mile service to customers and links them to the Class I rail network.
The RWRR moves almost any commodity, including grain, fertilizer, and paper products. It has 292 miles of track and interchanges with RCPE in Rapid City, South Dakota; BNSF in Mitchell, South Dakota; CN and UP in Sioux City, Iowa.
