Josh, Sheldon, Ryan and Mitch were my movers and did an amazing job. Very professional and careful the entire process - and the poor guys, it was 95 degrees the day I moved. The heat didn’t slow them down or ruin their spirits as we joked around a bit throughout the day and got a 4 story townhouse completely moved in one fell swoop. They were punctual, efficient, and as I mentioned very mindful of both house and personal property. I really appreciated their help and would highly recommend Forward Movers and this crew!

I used Forward Moving in April 2026 for a local move from Phoenixville to Royersford. I have moved probably 5 or 6 times over the last 10 years in different parts of the US and always use a moving company. My experience with Forward Moving was by far the best experience I had between all those moves. They made it super easy to get a quote, filling out some details on their website then a quick 15 minute video call to walk them through the house and what we wanted to move. Their quote was considerably better than other local companies as well. On the day of the move, the team they sent was super professional, courteous, and friendly. They took a lot of care to wrap everything and transport it safely. Nothing was damaged at all, which is also a first for me. Highly recommend!

It is without hesitation that I recommend Forward Movers! They were careful and respectful of my belongings, professional, pleasant and very hard workers. I would give them more stars if that was an option!

We recently used Forward Moving for our move, and the experience exceeded expectations from start to finish. The crew of four was extremely professional, well-prepared, and clearly experienced. They handled every item with care, taking all the right precautions to ensure nothing was damaged—honestly, not a single thing was. They were also very organized and attentive, placing everything exactly where we wanted it in the new house and making sure everything was clean and in order before wrapping up. The whole process felt smooth and stress-free, which is exactly what you hope for during a move. All four movers did an exceptional job, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Highly recommend Forward Moving to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company!

My rating system when a company is at fault for a significant injury: 5 stars = asks if you’re ok and offers to make it right. 3 stars (average) = only makes it right if you get upset. 1 star= takes no accountability. When you ask for compensation, argues because ‘you said you weren’t upset’, then tries to blame you for the injury. Incident: I am disabled and hired FM for packing all my things, putting them in a storage unit, then moving them out when my home was ready. During that process, someone put a 45lb bike rack 6ft high on a stack of tall wobbly boxes. A mover moved a box beneath it and it fell on my ankle. I had to go to Urgent Care, for x-rays and suture bandages. Diagnosed with an Achilles contusion, a 3-5 day injury requiring PT. On the way to urgent care, I called FM to update them. Kevin answered. Instead of asking if I was ok, he panicked and demanded to know what they were supposed to do with my stuff in their truck. I told him I didn’t know. I was in a lot of pain and needed to address the emergency, but the move had to be put on pause. I said I’d have to extend my hotel stay, $50 at CVS for first aid to stop the bleeding, and likely an urgent care bill copay, and I asked what they were going to do about the situation. He raised his voice -“that a legal issue!” and demanded I answer right then about my plans for the move (not after I dealt with the emergency). The next day took longer because I had to direct the movers from a wheelchair. I was charged $400 more because of the additional time. Asked if FM planned to do anything. Driver said ‘I think they ‘$100 off for the bike rack thing?” All told I was yelled at and charged $300 more. Plus $200 for hotel and first aid at CVS. Don’t have medical bill yet, so don’t know my copay. Additional cost due to the bike rack: $500. Then, unpacking, I found precious photos from the 1950s scattered & damaged in a box. They had been in files (photo above). They were inserted vertically between statues instead of a document box. Irreplaceable photos were torn and bent. A rolled up painting bent and damaged Several phone calls and circular arguments with Dan went nowhere. Key highlights: FM (Regarding the injury): You shouldn’t have been in the storage unit!. Me: My own unit? In the rain? How was I supposed to tell them what boxes to take? Do people leave their house when movers come?” FM (regarding the phots): you should have packed them safely! Me: I hired you to pack. I wasn’t present when they did it. Am I supposed to be present, or not be present? And most critically, Dan kept bring up this point: “You said accidents happened and that you weren’t upset! I listened to the recording again” Yes. I did. I practice forgiveness and meditate a lot. If I accidentally hit your car with mine, and you don’t get upset, I still owe you for damage. He asked what I wanted him to do. I told him whatever his company was obligated to do, and I’d accept that and put that in my review. He then accused me of blackmail. I don’t appreciate being accused of blackmail for saying I would review. By the time he wanted to make it right, I was too drained by him to continue. Money won’t fix the loss of priceless photos and stress they caused me. But this review can prevent it for others. ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS: Don’t use this company. If you do, and there is an issue, ONLY COMMUNICATE IN WRITING. Dysregulated people lead to upsetting conversations. They record those calls and use them against you - they even use not being upset against you. ADVICE TO FM: A lawyer told us in med school “people don’t sue doctors who make mistakes. They sue doctors who make mistakes and are jerks about it. So be nice to people." That rule applies to business as well. I am not a litigious person. The next customer might be.
