  This would be my second time using D&R Movers - a great experience both times! All 3 movers were very friendly and careful with all our belongings. Great prices as well.

  Lee was amazing to work with! He arrived in a timely manner, his guys were ready to work, and they displayed a high level of professionalism! They got the job done quick and with a smile on their faces! You can’t beat D&R movers!

  We were scheduled for a Saturday move with arrival time between 11-Noon. Every confirmation/reminder stated that time frame. We they had not arrived by 12:30 we called to check in and were told that we were schedule for 1-3pm and that they would not be arriving till after 3pm. Then at 2pm they called us to tell us all the moving trucks had broken down and that they would not be able to move us that day and the earliest they could reschedule us would be Tuesday Noon-2pm. With both of us working 9-5, we could not afford to take additional time off. When I asked about different solutions like renting a truck, I was told that “maybe that’s what you should do”. Needless to say, we ended up finding a different company (Affordable Movers) who were able to schedule us the next day at 9am and were awesome. D&R’s cheap pricing was enticing, but the unreliability and lack of accountability is just not worth it during an already stressful life event. Would not recommend.

  We hired D&R Movers to move us into our new home, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Before the move, I completed a walkthrough with Lee, and we reviewed everything that was to be moved. We specifically confirmed that all rugs would be included. Despite that, all rugs were left behind, along with numerous other items throughout the house. Many boxes that were packed, labeled, and ready to go were simply left behind, which forced us to spend several additional hours clearing out the old house ourselves and making multiple trips. The move also took approximately three hours longer than the estimate we were given. To make matters worse, the boxes that were clearly labeled by room were not placed in their designated rooms. Instead, many of them were left in the garage, creating even more work for us after the move. During the unloading process, one of our pantry bins was turned upside down, causing olive oil to spill all over the new hardwood floors. This could have caused permanent damage to our new home. After the move, I attempted to contact the company several times to discuss these issues. I called multiple times and left voicemails, but I have never received a return phone call or any response. The most frustrating part is that we tipped the moving crew before we had a chance to return to the old house and realize how many belongings had been left behind. Had we known the condition in which the job was left, we would not have tipped as generously. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Instead of reducing the stress of moving, D&R Movers made an already stressful day significantly more difficult. The lack of communication afterward only added to our frustration. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.
