  My husband and I just bought our first house and we both couldn’t believe how awesome our movers were. Not only were they incredibly hardworking, professional, and delicate with our items, they couldn’t stop congratulating us on our new home and how excited they were for us. Ray, Marcus, and Karon are wonderful gentlemen that know how to get the job done! Will 100% use them again for our next move.

  What an awesome experience with Joe’s Moving! I saw some seriously incredible driving and planning, along with really a high level of professionalism from the 3 gentlemen they sent to load and unload for our move. Marcus, Ray & Karon were a very positive and hard working bunch. They moved a family heirloom piano with a 3 br house in less time than we were quote and kept the energy high. If we should ever need moving services in the future, I WILL be using Joe’s again!! Thanks a bunch guys! -Ben

  This was the BEST moving experience I’ve ever had from start to finish! The estimate was fast and spot on. Communication was excellent! And I can’t say enough about my 3 movers - Rei, Marcus, and Angel! They were punctual, efficient, professional, and most of all, positive! They packed everything with such care and delivered all of my belongings in perfect condition! They truly made the day stress-free, and I couldn’t be happier for choosing Joe’s Moving Company! I highly recommend Joe’s for your next move!

  Honestly, I would have given a 4 star review vs 5 because I was told during our estimate/walk through that our elliptical could be dissassembled and moved. If this has been looked at a little closer, the complexity would have been realized and we would have made other arrangements to move this ahead of time. Our movers, Steve, James, and Angel were fantastic though and made up for that disappointment. They were very friendly, really worked quickly at getting us loaded and unloaded, and were in great spirits the entire day!

  Google Review Draft I would never use Joe’s Moving Company again, and I strongly caution anyone moving valuable, sentimental, or business-critical belongings to look elsewhere. Our move from Rochester to Avon began at approximately 10:00 a.m. on July 25 and did not end until around 2:00 a.m. the following morning. We were originally quoted $2,400, but the experience became so disastrous that we ultimately did not pay for the move. The crew was painfully disorganized. There were excessive breaks, standing around, repeated unnecessary trips, poor planning, slow loading, and what appeared to be a complete lack of control over the job. Most concerning, the crew leader appeared visibly impaired throughout the move. I recorded portions of his behavior, and a registered nurse who reviewed the videos said his conduct appeared consistent with someone under the influence of methamphetamine. I cannot independently diagnose what he had taken, but I can state with certainty that his behavior was alarming, erratic, and completely unacceptable for someone responsible for transporting a household. The resulting damage was extensive. Among the items damaged or destroyed were: * A large ornate gold mirror that my grandmother brought with her from Argentina * Two JL Audio 10W7 subwoofers valued at more than $2,000, completely destroyed * Professional dog-grooming equipment used for my girlfriend’s livelihood * A damaged Tempur-Pedic bed frame * A cracked custom beveled glass tabletop * My grandmother’s 1965 dining-room table and three leaves, which were handled so carelessly that the table was carried like a surfboard * A grill that was broken during a later attempt to complete the move When I confronted the crew leader about damage during the original move, his response was: “Dems the breaks, kid.” That statement accurately captures the level of professionalism we experienced. The owner initially appeared to be making a genuine effort to correct the situation. He told me that he would personally return with one of his best movers to complete the unfinished work. Instead, he later attempted to cancel and ultimately sent members of the original crew back. When they arrived, they were disgruntled and worked poorly with my girlfriend, who was managing the job while I was working. They then broke my grill without telling us. When I confronted them, they accused me of lying about it being broken. After three days of stress, damage to family heirlooms, destruction of business equipment, and being called a liar inside a home I had owned for less than 48 hours, I finally lost my temper and told them to leave. The claim process was no better. I submitted a detailed damage report with photographs. After the larger claim was denied, I requested only $1,500 as a compromise toward replacing the destroyed JL Audio subwoofers. The company instead relied on a claimed limitation of $0.30 per pound per item. That limitation was never clearly explained to me during the sales process in any meaningful way. The damage to my girlfriend’s grooming equipment has also delayed the reopening of her business because the replacement tools are expensive and not always readily available. This was not merely cosmetic damage to household furniture. Their handling of our property directly affected her ability to earn a living. I have extensive photographic documentation and will attach as much as Google permits. The damage, the length of the move, the crew’s conduct, the dismissive comments, the broken promises regarding completion, and the treatment we received afterward made this one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I would never hire Joe’s Moving Company again, and I would not recommend them to anyone.
