I had an out-of-state move with very little time to prepare, and what was an incredibly stressful experience was made so much easier thanks to Varsity. They showed up exactly when they said they would, charged exactly what they quoted, and handled my belongings with great care and professionalism. Jimmy and Chris were outstanding—friendly, efficient, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Moving is never easy, but Varsity Moving made it feel manageable and stress-free. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Frequently Asked Questions About Varsity Moving
I am getting ready to move, how much notice do you need?
A week is great, but sometimes we can work around your schedule. During the summer months of June/July/August it is the busiest time for moving companies. We suggest booking your move at least two to three weeks in advance during this time. Please call as soon as you have your moving date to get on our schedule.
Will my estimate cost any money?
No, our travel costs to your site for the estimate survey are covered by Varsity Moving.
How much will it cost me per hour?
Please call us for an estimate. We charge a base hourly rate, with a 3-hour minimum. Other travel fees could be associated with the move, depending on its location.
Will you move the stuff into my garage too?
Absolutely!
Do you move kitchen/laundry appliances?
We will move any appliance, but they do have to be disconnected, and we do not reconnect them. Water lines, specifically.
Do you move large heavy items, like pianos, hot tubs, or treadmills?
Yes, we do! We are piano, organ, and antique specialists. Call us for more information.
We have a gun safe; do you move those?
We have moved gun safes, depending on the size and weight. Call us for more information.
I have hardwood floors; what steps do you take to ensure they won't get scratched?
We have runners that we put down over the floors to protect them.
Do you tear down/set up beds?
Yes, we do! Whatever we take apart, we will put it back together at the new location.
Do I have to empty dresser drawers?
Please remove anything breakable or valuable. Clothing and linens can be left in drawers.
