Disciples Moving did an absolutely stellar job with our family's move! They showed up on time, worked incredibly fast, and got us entirely moved out of our house in record time. Professional, careful with our belongings, and highly efficient. If you want a stress-free move, these are the guys to call. Highly recommend!

He made the moving experience go by smoothly ! I can’t put into words how helpful he was, he even offered to do other things around the house that he wasn’t hired for. He is truly a disciple ! May God bless him & all of his endeavors!

This was a horrible and extremely disappointing experience with Disciples Moving & Labor. I'm almost 90 years old and hired Brian to move me from my two-bedroom apartment into my daughter's home because I'm no longer able to live alone. The quote included packing my entire apartment and disposing of a sofa and queen-size bed. The first issue was that they showed up on June 30 instead of the agreed-upon June 29. After reading another customer's review (which I believe has since been removed), I learned they were originally scheduled for a Saturday move that Brian couldn't accommodate. According to that review, they were moved to June 29, and my move was pushed back to June 30. Whether that's true or not, that's exactly what happened to me. Brian arrived with a Penske rental truck and what appeared to be two teenagers. I have nothing against young people earning money, but they clearly had little to no moving experience. They didn't know how to maximize space in the truck or safely carry multiple items at once. What really surprised me was that they arrived completely unprepared. There were no moving boxes, no packing paper, no bubble wrap, and no packing tape. Instead, my belongings were packed in Aldi shopping bags, Lowe's grocery bags, and whatever else they could find. That is not what I hired or paid for. When they unloaded at my daughter's house, boxes and furniture were simply placed wherever they fit. There was no organization whatsoever, leaving my daughter and me to spend hours sorting through the mess after they left. We also discovered they had taken the screws for the mirror on my dresser and the hardware needed to reassemble my desk. It took me two days to finally reach Brian. He admitted he realized the screws were still in his pocket after he got home that night, yet he never contacted me to let me know. When I asked him to return the hardware, he told me I was "infringing on him earning a living." Nearly two weeks later, I still don't have the screws, and he has made no effort to return them or contact me. Brian seems like a pleasant person, but he also appears to have an explanation for everything. If you read through the reviews, there always seems to be a reason why something wasn't his fault. I'm sure some of the positive reviews are genuine, but I also believe many are from well-meaning friends and family. From this veteran's perspective, this company has a long way to go before it can call itself a professional moving company. They are amateurs at best. I cannot recommend Disciples Moving & Labor and would encourage anyone considering hiring them to do plenty of research before making that decision.

We had an appointment for moving at 3pm on Saturday, but they delayed to 4.30pm, and they called and said they couldn't make it on that day. THEY RESCHEDULED (and now they said they don't work on Sun bc of God) on today, Sunday, at 9.15am. My husband couldn't call them this morning and then they texted my husband they canceled our appointment.
