The team efficiently loaded everything safely into their truck in record time and even committed 4+ hours to do it! They protected my belongings down to the little stuff and I felt like everything was so secure. I would 10000% use Big Burns again for any of my moving needs. Thank you, Big Burns!!

- AKAngel KhanSep 3, 20261.0I wanted to support a smaller business found via a Facebook group instead of a major corporation, but unfortunately, my experience fell well short of expectations. Punctuality: They were scheduled between 8:00–9:00 AM, but called after 8:00 AM to say they were running two hours late, ultimately arriving at 10:00 AM. They started the day complaining about the job (moving from a 3rd floor to another 3rd floor). Efficiency & Damage: It took them 3.5 hours just to move a 1-bedroom apartment. During the process, they damaged some of my items and slid my white couch directly across the ground (see attached photos). Left-Behind Items: Upon arrival at the new place, they realized they forgot an entire batch of my clothes. Instead of handling it professionally, one of the movers, Chuck, tried to gaslight me by claiming we never did a walk-through. We did do a walk-through at the start, confirmed everything, and they closed the truck and ramp themselves. They even suggested an off-the-books arrangement to go back for them. By this point, I was completely fed up and had to insist they finish up by 5:00 PM. I wish I had looked closer at their negative reviews beforehand, as they accurately reflect my experience. Next time, I will stick with a reputable, established brand. ***edit in reply to their response: YOU DID NOT get my items that you missed. It took your workers almost 7 hours for a 1 bedroom move. The previous movers I used in another review moved me Charlotte to Lake Norman including time travel under 5 hours. To clarify Chuck wanted me to pay under the table $200 to get items that were missed. As for taking pictures before move, I can of course include more pictures of the items before the move and their condition. In addition I can also provide the video of the movers sliding my couch on the ground and when it was dropped.
