  I had three movers who not only assured me that everything was going to be taken care of safely, but moved efficiently and kept their word. Thank you, Carlos Sr, Carlos Jr, and Renard G. for turning an incredibly overwhelming and stressful event into something comforting. I very much appreciate Simple Movers and these three men. Hard working and assuring. Will absolutely hire again if needed.

  The 3 guys that came were fast and efficient. They took excellent care of all my items. They also took the time to tighten up loose items. They were friendly and kind. They made sure my furniture was exactly where I wanted it placed in my new home. I would use them again and recommend to all!

  One of the three movers, Raynard, smelled heavily of marijuana. He is also the one who broke a storage container. He loaded a stack of containers filled with photo albums on a dolly and went out of the basement first and then pulled the dolly. Usually it is the other way around so there is more control going down the one step. The way he did it caused the containers to bounce and they all fell off the dolly. One of them broke beyond repair and the albums were strewn on the ground. He apologized. But then told me I put too much weight in that container. When bringing this container full of albums into my new place it was not stable (I’m not even sure how he got them all in what was left of the container.) and the albums again fell out all over the stairs leading to my front door. He did pick everything up and bring it inside. He knocked on my door after they left asking to use the restroom. When he entered he asked repeatedly if I used a card or cash and if I left a tip. He was very aggressive in making sure I left a tip. It made me uncomfortable. But, the other two gentlemen, Brendan and Kenny Jr., were very professional and respectful. They handled everything with ease, even the heavy furniture.

  If I could give 10 stars, I would! Steven & Rogers were our move crew, Karen helped with payment and scheduling. Everyone was accommodating with the weather, the locations (2 apartments in opposite sides of town into a house), and everything in between! We will definitely be using them again. Communication ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Willingness to help, even though an item wasn’t on their inventory list ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Just had a move today. There were positives and negatives to the service. My furniture was handled with care but service was not timely, quality seems inconstant (I’ll explain) and one of the movers (I had two) was rude (would ignore me when I spoke to him and would not respond when I asked a couple questions). Before today I had heard great things about this moving company and so I also told my roommate about them who also used them (she was moved yesterday). She had great things to say about her team of three. They were respectful and nice to talk to, they handled her furniture with care, and moved quickly with a great attitude of wanting to get things done as quickly as possible. I had a different team than her. I’ll list the items I had moved to my new place (all furniture was grouped with no obstacles or surrounding items, I did not have them move any small things just these items I am listing): a 3 seat couch, a tv stand, a small bookcase, 2 small/light desks, the chair to those desks, a small kitchen rack (one of the movers was able to just pick it up and carry himself), a dresser, a full size mattress and bed frame, a light decorative side table, a standing mirror, a cheap rolling island (i’m not very strong but even i can lift it easily), and 5 costco bins. It’s a 25 minute drive from my previous residence to my new residence (they left before me but arrived at my new residence 15 minutes after me). They arrived at my previous residence at 1:50 and completed moving me in at 4:53. I ended up paying $480. For comparison, my friend who was moved yesterday had much more to move than me (which includes a couch, queen bed with frame, dresser, and washer and dryer. They were even more amazing and helped unhook it from the hookups. Keep in mind they technically did not need to do that and were being nice) and her total was $310. I’m very glad that she got a crew that cares about time and her bottom dollar but it seems like with this company that is not guaranteed. It seems luck of the draw on what movers you get. If I had gotten the same service as my friend, I would continue to use this company in the future and recommend to everyone I know who is moving. I don’t feel comfortable doing that anymore. I know I’m listing a lot of negatives, and I know that there were definitely things that I was happy with. But at the end of the day, I wish I had gotten people who seemed like they gave even a little bit of care about my time and bottom dollar.
